[Yes this post is over due]

"Many days this quest has burdened me but I must go on it or it will not come again. It saddens me to leave Anya alone for I would rather be by her side than to take this quest" Vahn said to himself then sighed. He packed up the food, water, and other essential items and walked out the door of his home.

Opening a rune book and traveling to Trinsic he knew this was the begining of it all. Stepping out the front gate he began to walk into the jungle towards the first shrine. Turning back and looking at the city he thought of Anya once more then kept walking into the jungle slowly fading from view in the jungle.

Journal entry

Many days have passed and I have been to several of the shrines. So far I have run into little trouble and the quest remains. Tis a hard task enveloping each virtue but it must be done for the quest to finish. I make my way back to trinsic to take a boat to one of the shrines based on an island. I miss my dear Anya so much. The shell she gave me brings some comfort at night but I would rather see her warm smile once more. The last shrine I think will visit will be the shrine on the island of snow and ice.

As he walked into the town of vesper he thought to him self " Only one shrine left..honesty..". Slowly Vahn made his way to the Vesper docks. As he came ac ross a boat captian he looked at his boat then to him.

"'ello der young'un. How 're ye today?" the captian asked

"Quite well sir. I wish to take passage on your boat to the island of snow. A trip there and back." vahn said

"'ell dat 'ill be five thousand for that trip" the captian stated

"Alright I shall pay ye upon the trip back." Vahyn said calmly.

"I 'ont tink so. Ye payin' me upfront now lad." the captian said with a stern voice.

"How about half now and half later?" Vahn asked

"Either pay me now or ye aint goin lad and dat's dat." the captian said said starting to turn to walk away.

Vahn sighed a bit then said "Alright...here's the money". Reaching into his pack Vahn pulled out the money and handed it to the captian. The Captian took the money then turned his back to Vahn and grinned a bit as they boarded the ship. As they traveled for two days to the island they finaly reached there destination. The captian placed the plank from the boat to the shore and backed away towards the tiller.

"Now remember...wait for me here." Vahn stated as he walked over thew plank and onto the shore.

"Aye, aye...I will..of coarse..." the captian said then smirked.

Making his way to the shrine he thought on the events of the past several days. As he reached the shrine he dropped his pack onto the stone floor of the shrine. As the pack hit the drop he heard something break and knelt down beside his pack to see what broke. Upon looking inside he saw a bottle of water broke and spilled water everywhere. He sighed a bit knowing he couldnt do anything about it then got up and knelt at the shrine's ahnk. For hours he knelt there meditating as the images shown to him of the virtue. As the images slowly ceased he got up slowly and picked up his pack.

As he walked back to the shore where the boat was docked he looked in disbelief as he saw no boat where it was last. For hours he looked up and down the entire shore line of the island but saw no boat. SHaking his head slightly thinking on the captians dishonesty he opened his pack to get his one rune book he brought along. But as he looked inside he saw ice covering the rune book, his water frozen, and his food frozen as well. As thre horror of the situation set his he relized he would have to find food somehow. As he searched his pack to see what was left that was untouched he saw the cookies and shell that Anya had given him.

The winds started to pick up fiercely as the snow storm rolled in. Vahn looked up and knew he had to find shelter. Putting his shield in front of him he slowly walked about till he found a small cave to the north. As he got inside he knelt down and thought on how he would survive this mess. Two days passed as the storm still kept up. As he started to relize he would not make it through this ordeal he openmed up hios journal and began to write

The cookies have run out and I have no had anything to drink unless you count snow. The tempetures at night are very cold and I am growing sleepy. I know if I go to lseep now I wont wake up but I grow so weak. I just wish I could see Anya one more time. The hunger will set in soon and I care not feel it. The cold is getting to me and I dont know howl ong I will hold out here..

As he closed the book and put it away he sat there thinking on what will come of him in this situation even tho he already had an idea. As the hours passed on he took out the shell and held it in his left hand. Growing weaker as sleep set his he fell forward into the snow. As he lay there slowly losing conciousness he reached his right hand out towards the cave enterence and passed out. His fully plate armored form laying in the show with a shell in one hand and the other streched out to the cave enterence. His breathing slowed a bit and was fast asleep as the night started to set in and the tempetures grew colder..

Dreams filtered every night..eachmorning leaving her with the same image..of Vahn. Each dream revealed a little more each time til finally..there he was notmoving..possibly not breathing. She awoke from her slumber startled as she jumped out of bed and ran downstairs yelling for her father.

"Father! Vahn..he is in trouble..he needs help!"

Tears streaming down her cheeks. Her father upopn hearing that quickly got ready in armor. He started to question her about where he was..she told him in her dream all she saw was snow. But remembered him telling her about visiting Honesty last shrine. She as not sure what order he was going in..just that honesty would be the last shrine. Her father opened a gate to it and they (Poet, Gildamar, Ultima and herself) all went through. They serached high and low for Vahn when Gildamar found him. Face down in the snow...just as she had seen it in her dream. She soon followed behind Gildamar intot he small snow ladden cave. After stripping off the robe she had one..th place about him. She sighed and looked very worried. Gildamar gave her his robe and had her seek out Ultima and Poet. She did that seeing Ultima she informed him where Vahn was. She then went on tolook for her father whom must have went to loook at the other shrines to see if he could find Vahn there. Gildamar took Vahn back to the Garden. When Anya arrived, she found them all in the steam room. Vahn was slowly thawing out and coming to. Once he was around and about enough, she had Gildamar and Ultima escort Vahn downstrais soehe could get him some hot soup and cider toh elp warm the insides. Hours passed as people came and went. Their concern on Anya as she seemed to have become more feverish and abit aggressive in some manners. Her concern however was on her love..Vahn. Ensuring he was fine and well..was all that was on her mind. Whenthe last person left, she escorted Vahn up the stairs to one of hte bedrooms..the one she had been sleeping in. She told him he was sleeping htere for th evening..cause hea s too weak. He asked where would she be staying, she told him in another room or there if he wished. He said he prefer her being there. So she climbed into bed and scooted over. Once he climbed in she snuggled close t him.

"Love you Vahn"

She said softly as her eyes started to close. He told her that he missed her and loved her aws well. Feeling his arms about her as he cuddled with her..she felt at peace for now.
