"Back to Verity, men." Fong said, nodding to Vaen, Tobias, and Traziel. He began to walk slowly away as Vaen turned his glance to Adrien. With a slight smirk, he spat at his feet, and then turned and walked in Fong's direction.

Everything was working according to plan. This barbaric picture that is to be painted of Moonglow will only help their cause. He smiled to himself as he continued to walk further away from the Nujel'm Palace, with Tobias and Traziel just behind him, and Fong in front of him.

"Well done, men." Fong nodded to them. "That'll be all for tonight."

Vaen nodded to Fong. "Thank you, Chancellor." He turned to the other Arcanamachs. "You heard the Chancellor, we're done for now. In the coming days, expect to be painted as barbaric warmongering fools. And while they are busy pointing fingers at us for that, they will be too busy to notice what is truly going on."

Tobias and Traziel nodded with a slight grin. Fong chuckled, and then recalled off.

"Dismissed."

The two Arcanamachs said their farewells and took their own paths. Vaen turned again towards the Nujel'm palace and smirked.

"Next time I'll bring a pen. I didn't know my fan club reached all the way into the Protectorate."
