Sweat trickled down my head as I sat up in my modest bed. A cool spring breeze after a hard night of showers. Showers were not all of that evening. Dreams where there too, and half memories that might not even be memories at all. Most nightmares with a slight undercurrent of pleasantness.

Why is this happening to me? I thought as perspiration drenched the wrinkled, white shirt I had been too lazy to remove before I fell into my slumber. The clang shing of swords still resounded in my mind. The guttural cries of the demon possessed still echoed in my heart.

"Dreams..." I said with a chuckle.

"Thats all they were... Just dreams." Comfort filled, I rested my head, but sleep just would not consume me. With a heart-filled sigh I tried to remember, and yet I some how just didn't want to.

This is odd. Crossed my mind, as I gently brushed the new beard that hung below my chin. Odd indeed. Somehow I felt different, yet at home in my new self.

"Dreams..." I said quietly before sleep took me once again.
