We have all seen it, on the vendors, people trying to take anothers hard earned gold by saying it is something that it is not. A nice Aggy hammer, wow for only 4 million who could pass up that offer? until the person goes to try to make those powerful weapons and realizes they are mere nothing at best. Theres nothing we can do but I'd like to thank a person who is fighting back in the community against this.
A shop in close to the east gate of luna by the name of Dust Mite, has a home, and I own a vendor there. This person saw treachery and cancelled the persons contract, but even went a step farther and placed 4 vendors with books saying that there was a scammer alert, and not to buy the hammer or apron that said it was a crimmy. All I can say about this person is Honor came first before greed. and her spots are worth a nice penny, but for such a good location.
I wish to honor this person Dust Mite, and let you know if you ever frequent her shop and see her let her know thank you, for she truly has a great heart, and a great shop.

Thanks,
Vampire Marius

Hahahaha, so how do you go about making a fake hammer anyways? Tinkering doesn't let hammers keep the material colour, the only thing I could think of is someone using a weapon engraving tool on it? There's nothing I could think of for that scam that wouldn't make the person falling for it a complete idiot.

Just be sure it says "Agapite RUNIC hammer" and not "Agapite SMITHS hammer".

It has to have "runic" in the name title or else its just a normal smiths hammer. The same goes for any other color.

Wait, what? What is this about special dyes? Where do you turn blackrock in? What can you get from it?

There was a blackrock turn in right before Haven exploded

you could get special metal colored dyes from it. I think you can get them from peerless too though, correct me if I'm wrong.

I have no idea how they are doing it but I did see the hammer, it doesnt even look like a Runic hammer, looks like a smiths hammer but it says Aggipite smiths hammer. I know most of us know the diffrence but I mean for the newer players they might think what a deal and realize the mistake. I just wanted to thank this person in Luna cause this guy said to her now her shop is black listed and shes been losing customers and vendors cause of it, so I told her I would post something to our community.
I dont think she should be blammed cause their are few jerks out there that like to scam.
I've owned a vendor there for quit some time and shes always been nice to me and says hello when she does see me.

the ore colored tokuno dyes were from the second wave of tokuno artie turn ins. instead of the usual 50 charge neon colors, they changed into the metal colored 10 charge.

It's true.. A friend of mine bought one and we were trying to figure out wtf was going on with no mods or anything.. Then we took a closer look at the hammer. Sure enough it was an Agapite Smith's Hammer, not Runic.
