After much consultation and thought, and in full support of the efforts of the Royal Council, it’s humble servant, His Majesty, Lord Adrien Garnier and the Britannian Protectorate have decided to subsidize and provide any additional monetary funding for the efforts of The Blackrock Detector being constructed in the great City of Moonglow and voices it's emphatic and united support of the respectable Kronos, the respectable Dexter, Mayor Yolen Grath, and Chancellor Fong in their noble efforts.

The Governor-Regent rejoices that this device will provide for the continuing safety and stability of all Loyalist and Allied nations of the King’s Britannia. The Governor-Regent also feels compelled to remind us all that any and all Blackrock In the possession of citizens of Britannia, or discovered by this Blackrock Detector is to be turned over immediately to the Royal Council as to avoid any incidents in resemblance to the dark events of Haven or the accident with Duke Spawn Skyfire of Sanctus.

All Britannians should rejoice in the wake of this innovation and the join the Royal Council, the Mages’ Council, and Protectorate High-Command in Moonglow for this most auspicious event, and in celebration of the Royal Council and the Council of Mages’ efforts to provide for the prolonged protection of Britannia

His Majesty, Lord Adrien Garnier
Governor-Regent of Britannia
Leader of the Consensus of Light
Regional-Governor of Nujel’m

*Toren smiled slightly as he read over Adrien's decree*

Oh, I wouldn't miss this for the world...

"Hmph, if there werent guards around id smack you" Cear said to the town crier.
"And to know, they will love and accept his help. You people know nothing of that magnificant reagent. I know in my heart, the moment they turn that machine on, it will mark that day forever in history, as the Vas An.
The Great Negate of Moonglow..."

*some one in the back ground as Cear leaves Britian*
"Who is that tall lanky fellow yelling to himself?"
*Cear vanishes behind a corner*

Shade slips a bit more of it into her pack a wicked smile on her lips.

How kind they do the work for us...

Let peace come to Sosaria, Let the cleansing begin...

Azunda sat in the shrine of Morgaz, contemplating the events of the evening. Moonglow was ripe with fear and paranoia. Though common for the lightsworn, tonight was amplified ten fold. He reflected on the doomsayings of the elderly woman who recentlly arrived, and had seemed to be the source of Moonglow's woes. Furthermore, the somber speach of Vargus a few days prior regarding Moonglow's fate stimulated Azunda's hopes.

His thoughts were interrupted, as the whails of wraiths filled the main hall in the floor below. Azunda, however, knew he did not need to greet them; they would come to him if something important was happening.

Of course, Dhrazail and Selketh ascended through the floor into the shrine. Azunda, preparing a sample of incense to burn, briefly turned to the wraiths. "Speak."

"Master... fleshed Regent made an announcement about Moonglow." Dhrazail said, nodding to himself. "Selketh will tell you."

Selketh summarized the decree, and Dhrazail nodded in tow.

Azunda, quite pleased, masked his pleasure as best he could. "Magnificent work... now be off. There is much that I must do."

As the wraiths vanished, Azunda lit his incense and sat on the floor.

"My lord... it begins faster than anticipated."

The flames from the candlabras flickered wildly, as if a small gust of wind had graced the shrine.

"This is yours... The Convergence of Unmaking shall be complete, for your arrival."

The deathly fumes from Azunda's deadly mixtures that created the incense enveloped the room, sending Azunda into another fit of madness.

Adrien Garnier:

The Governor-Regent treaded carefully around the device beyond the restricted zone of Moonglow, Lord Greypawn, Yolen Grath, Mayor of Moonglow, and Vice-Mayor Davis watched him carefully and Greypawn discussed his and the Mage's Council's thoughts on the event and their refusal to accept funding from the Royal Council.

'This stinks of Nystul's old magics...I do not like it" Grumbled Greypawn after a lengthy and rather academic description of the machine's function and the nature of Blackrock.

'Indeed." Muttered Adrien by this point quite distracted.

"Well no matter...I have just spoken to the Mage's Council and they have rejected The Royal Council's finances of this project, so until he generates more funds Kronos cannot continue." Concluded Greypawn.

"Oh, Your Grace, as Governor-Regent as you know I'm quite subordinate to the wishes of the Royal Council, and so I've opted to send funds to Kronos directly, as the Council has asked me to do." Adrien responded with a sudden sense of duty.

"It is after all for the greater good, as you yourself said, Blackrock, unstable, dangerous and unnatural. It must be gathered and regulated by the Royal Council, to avoid another Haven."
Turing ever so slightly Adrien whispered in Greypawn's direction " The Royal Council moves for the greater good, the future of Britannia and her people. It is what Lord British would do. "

With a formal bow and a turn Adrien made his way to the inn at which he had taken up formal residence in Verity for the week. It was his royal obligation to see to it the Council's wishes were met.

Protectorate Ships had already began unloading soldiers at the docks to assist the Moonglow Town Council with crowd control.

Looking back somewhat nervously to the device he repeated a single phrase before entering the inn.

"Indeed."

Darrien Church:

A putrid mist seemed to manifest from the very air-itself and drawing all light into itself, growing more and more fluid-like the foliage around it seemed to wither and warp with decay. A figure covered from head to toe in heavy billowing robes and heavy metallic armor seemed took shape and came into solid form. A mask, of an elegant young male of impeccable feature appeared from beneath thick lairs of cloth forming some sort of a thick hood about the being’s skull as the mask’s thin eye-slits began to flow with entropic green energy.

Muttering to itself in a multitude of voices it moved slowly about the forest, touching nothing, but seeming to touch everything about it at once.

“The Void shalt pour forth the forces of Oblivion. On the third black-dawn there shalt be silence. The crows shalt feat upon the festering whilst Ghouls dance amongst the ruins. The last of the Virtues shalt be undone... They will rule absolute with iron talons,The shalt rip-forth the hearts of all who draw breath..There shalt be no love, nor light, nor mercy. The fallen-mighty shall be as slaves and the wordsOf the once virtuous shalt be made false.Every good soul, and every pure soul shall be tainted...

Slowly, in a similar fashion, several wraiths began to manifest about the Lich Lord in a similar fashion. Azunda…the cult of Morgaz they would arrive soon.

”The Convergence shall be complete!”
