|
This is an RP community. But within are those that every now and then like to beat on something, kill something, or just blow off steam by hunting. I am proposing that we set up a list of people that would like to partake in Peerless runs maybe once a week.
It would be a chance for RPers to have some fun and let their RP hair down for a bit. There would be no issues with guild affiliations or alliances, or personal animosities based on Character Backgrounds.
Several advantages to this proposal, is that it would serve as a break from the routine, possibly lead to helping create or strengthen personal bonds within the community, and expose our guilds and community to more people in the community and show them that we can have fun.
Guilds like RK and UWF dont drop books for recruiting, they don't need to. They gain members by being seen at peerless and spawns. This could possibly help us bring in new people that like to hunt, adn that would like to learn more about RP.
This is how I came to the RP community a year and a half ago. And by doing this, it would give us as a group a chance to interact with potential RPers for a period of time before guilding them.
I am not saying that we divert attention from RP. Just get together once a week for those in the community that like to hunt as well as RP, let our hair down and have fun, and possibly bring more people into the community and make a little gold or get that CC we all want. Thanks for listening. _________________ "Always speak the Truth even if it leads to your death." - Lord Godfrey |

Actually sounds pretty solid. Would give me something to do when RP is down. Well, as long as it wasn't on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday nighs. (Work nights!) _________________ Through all else, let Honesty lead you! |

First Scheduled Peerless hunt - Next tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 8:30 PM
Travesty at the Citadel
Ill get the keys, and be ready to roll at 8:30
Prerequisites: Obtain quest from Sarakki the Notary outside Brit Library
Skill Types: Tamers with Cu Sidhe or Rune Beetle, Mages, Weavers, Archers, Busdhido Warriors
Notes: Getting Keys are fairly easy if you have Honor. Harder for a warrior or Mage. Almost impossible for Archer to work the rooms for keys as most of the creatures there have Reflect Physical attributes.
My tamer solo's keys all the time. _________________ "Always speak the Truth even if it leads to your death." - Lord Godfrey |

OK. We can do this one of two ways... We could tie this in to Tavern Nights, we could be working keys and immediately after the conclusion of Tavern Nights could then run off to do a peerless with a bunch of drunk RPers, or we could just do on Tuesdays.
For those that are interested, please list your preferred times. Thanks. _________________ "Always speak the Truth even if it leads to your death." - Lord Godfrey |

Anything that sends you into the citadel. there is also one in Heartwood that will send you, but the one from Sarakki is easier. Black Order Badges, Orders from Minax.. those quests. |

Quests for the Citadel...
For the typical player, use Sarakki the Notary outside Brit Library. Any quest she gives will give you access to the citadel.
When I do keys, I pick up badges and collect them. A couple of times I have done the quest over and over for turning in badges. Most of the rewards are junk, but some ROCK hard.
However, since I have become quite proficient at keying for Travesty, I use the quest in Heartwood. The rewards there tend to be better. But the quest is harder to complete. You have to kill each one of the three room bosses.
I am not saying it's impossible for a warrior to key for travesty. Just very hard. And it's even hard for a mage since they dispel ev's. It is VERY hard for a warrior, and almost impossible for an Archer to do it solo. The room bosses have reflect phys attributes, and you take damage when you hit them with bow.
My Paladin Archer Tamer rocks on keys. Rooms for the Yellow and Blue are easy, you walk right up to them, dismount, then trigger spawn by walking, and run out so they lose target on you and target your cu sidhe. Step back in, cast Dispel Evil, and then your dog kills them. Easy.
Orange is a different story. You have to traverse two rooms that have spawn of their own just to get to the room with the key. The more traffic in these rooms, the more spawn. I use Honor. It allows me to walk right past them without being attacked. Spellweavers have the spell they can cast which helps, but without Honor, I would not even try. I think the spell is Etheral Voyage.
Ill have keys about 8:30. I will try to have enough for two runs. It depends on how greedy Travesty is.
To give you an idea of how hard Orange can be sometimes, here is a pic.
