Adorned in heavy, stained burlap shrouds to conceal their identities if spotted, Azunda and Zachary carefully treaded back into the forests surrounding the Ebon Spire with beasts of burden in tow, the darkness of the foggy night granting them a boon in their quest. Upon arrival, the pair quickly ushered the beasts of burden inside.

Azunda sliced open the poorly made sacks strapped to the animals. Akin to a rockslide, a wide assortment of body parts and containers full of blood fell from the sacks to the floor. The pair nodded to eachother, and began to decorate the halls of the spire with the donations graciously offered by travelling locals.

"Not so neatly, Zachary," Azunda spoke critically "Remember, these men need to look like they were in the battle of their lives. Throw them down limp, place a weapon in their hand, and move on. Sever limbs with the saw as needed."Zachary nodded, and resumed dragging bodys across the floor.

"Ahhh.... wait wait wait." Azunda groand, rubbing his temples. "Pierce that one's spine."

"Why?" asked Zachary.

"We'll coat his back in blood, and drag him across the floor." Azunda laughed. "Have him end up under the suit of armor, then collapse the suit of armor on top of him. It will look like he was dragged into it."

Zachary smirked, and followed Azunda's suggestion.

The night went on in this fashion, as the pair seemed to be challenging eachother to come up with more gruesome scenario's in their illusion of a battlefield. Once completed, the pair collected the beasts and any leftover containers, and left the disaster for the discovery of any who cared to investigate.

At the sound of her mother's unladylike belch, Imryrr turned from her maps in the Keep's garden. She detested the room, but the lighting was better. She glanced her mother swaying in the doorway, and so turned back to her maps.

"Zach, Imryrr came home and burned the Skull men!" Ditto said rather loudly.

Imryrr turned again, a look of deep annoyance on her hardened face. "What are you babbling about? Try again. This time..Be clear in your words, mother. I have no patience for your drunken state. "

Ditto breathed in deeply, almost falling backwards but caught herself, and she tried again. This time, speaking slower & carefully.
"Zach was at Cein's tavern. He said ....things...Oblivion's people, their home was burned and ransacked, I heard. He said when he returned it was like that. His journey for ...nothing."

Imryrr's face became stoic, except for the slight arch of near amusement her brow revealed.
Dtto squinted to see her more clearly against the brightness of the room and her own intoxicated mind. "Did you have a hand in this, Imy?"

Imyrr stood up tall, leaving her maps the on makeshift table and grabbed up her helm quickly. "No. I did nothing against them". She moved swiftly past her mother, " I swore to no longer aid Oblivion against Umbra, except under a direct command by father, but it is still my duty to see to his....allies. Let father know what you told me, and that I am taking a small contengent to scout the Spire."

Ditto nodded after flattening herself against the archway to allow her daughter's departure, and made her wobbly way toward her husband's study to await him.

The ride to the Spire was a long one for the patrol. An abnormally cold one for this area of the continent. Imryrr's pose was just as cold as she walked carefully toward what was once the temple where she had attended Black Mass.

Destruction was all around the Ebon Spire. Bodies laying askew here and there, only the coldness keeping the smell of rotting corpses back. She chose her footfalls carefully and worked her way around the bodies. Calling for Sergeant Morwen to investigate one area, she investigated another.

No sign of life, or undead apparent. At least not at first.
A wraith wailed loudly, its voice contorted by the breeze as it went quickly by her. It spoke to her. Telling her pieces of what had occurred in the Spire to cause such destruction. Adrien Garnier and his bringers of good and light.

Closing her fist tight, she swore vengence for this act against the Empire. Though she herself, had had her falling out with the Lich Lord, the followers of Oblivion had been a prominent force under the Dark Order's banner.

She would report to her emperor father at once, all that the patrol had discovered.
