You're giving them way too much credit. Honestly, how hard do you think it is to throw together a few holiday items? They've got all the scripts already, I highly doubt they're implementing anything new mechanics-wise. Researching chocolates probably means going, buying a box of chocolates, and discovering that square = caramel, round = creams.


UO isn't broken because of holiday gifts. UO is broken because the devs have no fracking clue what the game's strengths are.
