That bottom picture is MINT.
Forgot to Mention the Tournament Winnings
Sarian, Winner of unmounted melee - Champion of Truth
Runner up - Niall McStravick
Sarian, Winner of the Joust! - Champion of Britannia
Runner up - Niall McStravick
May I add, the last joust between Sarian and Niall was one of the most intense ones I have ever witnessed. Those there to witness it would understand! Bad blood had brewed between the two during the melee battle. Yet again they faced off for first and second place.
The two knocked eachother down at the same time (after roughly 15-20 runs back and forth)
Again, the two knocked eachother down at the same time! 2 pts - 2 pts!
It was down to the nitty-gritty. |

It was a great turn out, great event once again bringing everyone together. _________________ Lady Toni McStravick-Skyfire

Looked like a damn good time. Beo won, shocker there, right? Beo kicks to much ass is the problem. Damn you, Beo, and your awesomeness!
I woulda been there to add one more sexy man in blue, but IRL issues came up. Glad to see MTC rocked it with a good turn out. Glad to see ARPC in general rocked it with a good turn out. _________________ Through all else, let Honesty lead you! |

Let us not forget that there were other great bouts as well. A couple that went into sudden death in unmounted combat, and King's jousting bout with Sarian was so evenly matched as well it just came down to who got lucky first on the second point.
But we have to admit, one of the highlights of the Tourney was Lord Isk getting beaten by a young elven girl. That was priceless. He will never live that down. I bet he is still slamming doors and kicking things (j/k) _________________ "Always speak the Truth even if it leads to your death." - Lord Godfrey |

did I do that? *smiles innocently*
it was a night filled with lots of interesting twists and turns.
and no, Cecilia did -not- let Niall win , and to those that "mentioned" he should have let me win... if he had let me win he would have been in more trouble then if he had won fair and square like he did. I am an M'real after all... |

Actually the sun was in Isk's eyes. Her lance was corked. She is on human growth hormone (Got it from Umbra). Isk was sick. There is a global elven conspiracy to beat Isk in jousts. These excuses are getting hard to think up... |

We may have to start a Protectorate Sub-Committee to look into this growing, performance enhancing drug problem. _________________

The news article has been posted.
I just wanted to add, that you guys rock. That was an impressive showing of roleplayers that sends a good message to the Atlantic and UO community, as well as the dev team. _________________ "There are those who dream to escape reality, and there are those who dream to change it." |
