Most Eminent Matriarchs,

After much thought, and a careful examination of your activities and dealings, in conjunction with the hostile attitude you hold to several of our allies The Britannian Protectorate has opted to reject you a place in our council.

We have also decided to reject your request to be recognized as free and allied nation. That being said you are afforded none of the military protection, economic trade-rights nor any other right granted by the Britannian Protectorate to her vassals and allies.

This by no means denotes that the Britannian Protectorate extends any hostility to you, nor does it wish any ill upon you or your realm. You will be permitted to appoint a permanent observer from your own ranks who will be recognized as your realm's official diplomat to the Britannian Protectorate and may attend, and if so desired speak at the general assembly of the Britannian Protectorate on all matters Umbran.
