Spawn, the Avatar of Oggaroth, sat in his throne inside the temple of Oggaroth. His priest, Lomar stood in front of the throne with numerous blank pieces of parchment writing what his master told him. Moments pasted as Lomar finished writing his master's words on the parchment.

"Go... spread my message throughout the lands" Spawn said motioning for Lomar to go. The priest bowed low in respect before walking out of the temple. The next day, the pieces of parchment were placed in every city in Felucca, Trammel, and Malas where the people could clearly read it. The piece of parchment said the following:

Foolish lightbringers,

Your time on this world is over. You can pray to your virtues all you want but it shall do you no good. I, Oggaroth, Destroyer of worlds have come to wipe your pathetic existance from this world. I shall use the skills and knowledge of my newly reclaimed host Spawn to accomplish my task. Many of you doubt my power and this has been forseen. Go to Sanctus and witness the destruction of the house of my avatar. Go to Mazewood, witness the refugees I vanquished and the pain I caused the Lady Starfire. You are not safe from me my dear followers of the light. You can hide in your land and your castles. I know where you hide and I shall use the knowledge of Spawn to hunt you down and destroy you all one by one.

But I offer you an alternative mortals. If you kneel down in my presence and declare absolute allegiance to Oggaroth, I shall consider sparing your lives. And since I have no use for it, you can surrender your lands to the rule of the Armunn Empire. This shall be the only chance to spare yourself of the inevitable doom that awaits you. If you decide to refuse my generous offer, you shall die along with all the people most dear to you.

I trust you shall choose wisely if you value life so dearly as I have seen through the memories of your former friend Spawn. So consider my offer lightbringers: Join me or die.
