Esteemed Empress,

Firstly, let me begin by extending my most sincere thanks for a vote in my favor at our most recent Protectorate meeting. Your faith in me I assure you will not be misplaced.

I believe it is the duty of every Governor-Regent to come to know all of the people he is charged to serve, to understand their beliefs as well as their way of a life. As you know, I have elected to restore the practice of Lord Dayel Stormcrow of blessed memory, my inspiration. I wish to visit every corner of the Protectorate, and allow the people a chance to come to know me, and I to come to know them.

As no Governor-Regent to my knowledge has officially visited your islands before, and I am perhaps least versed in it's culture and traditions I have elected your domain be the location of my first official visit with the subjects of the Protectorate.

If you would so permit me, I would arrive perhaps at a day of your choosing in your main city and would be pleased to meet it's natives as well as any people serving her majesty. Perhaps, a tour of the islands may be arranged, as I have heard fabled tales of it's exotic beauty while never having been there myself.

Lord Garnier, Governor-Regent

We are pleased that you will be visiting upon our lands soon. I have made neccessary arrangements for your housing and that of any of your entourage for this Wednseday and hope that you will join us for a dinner at 8 hours past the eastern sun at our summer retreat in Zento. The heads of the lands, our allies and governing bodies from the islands will be in attendence and look forward to speaking with you more and showing you their homes and posts. If it pleases you , feel free to bring any you wish and your hunting gear if you are so inclined as the men are always ready to hunt and show some sport. We look forward to an enjoyable visit and hope to make it one you will remember always.
