Quote:
The following letter was sent by special courier to Adrien Garnier:

"Lord Garnier,

I found our recent meeting pleasant and most enlightening, so much that I made haste to meet with the Regent to relate the details of it to him (and also lest the memory of our talks fail me).

I did my utmost to convey to him everything you told me, concerning your organization and intentions for it, and your overtures of hospitality and respect.

You will remember that I told you that I was fairly certain he would not accept your proposals, and I was correct. He may of his own accord send you a letter outlining his reasons (as I advised him to) or he may not.

This leaves us no choice but to declare that both organizations go their own ways. I pray that no further "splinter" groups evolve from this precedent, but I hold out no hope that they will not. Events such as these have far-reaching consequences.

I thank you for taking time to visit my home, share a meal, and discuss issues in a gentlemanly and friendly fashion as we both did.

In Sincerity,
Thraxanduril
Baron of Thraxstadt"

Your Grace,

I too found our meeting insightful and pleasant, all praise I have heard about you Lord Baron are well deserved indeed. You have my gratitude for your efforts to convey my sentiments to this Pharoh Ramses.

This is first-hand proof, as I had suspected and been told that this administration does not in fact have the benefit of the people of Britannia in mind.

As you know, The Britannian Protectorate boasts within it's members more then half of the civilized world, myself being representative of this organization it is astounding a Regent claiming to be the voice of the people would not at least entertain an audience with me.

This shows a wanton disrespect and lack of sympathy not for myself but for the people of Britannia.

The Regency in it's purist form is the hand of the people of Britannia and the King manifest, that being said the people are the arm. The Regency has so distanced itself from nearly our entire world that now truly much like a hand severed from it's arm it shall no doubt wither and decay. An analogy you yourself shared with me over our dinner.

I should now note that since the Regency has so openly shown disrespect and disdain for the people of Britannia who do not swear fealty to a foreign-king "and Pharoh" claiming to act in our King's stead it would be wise that officials of your government keep their distance from our protected territories.

You are commended for your loyalty, albeit to a corrupt and hypocritical organization.

May the Virtues sustain you.

I remain,

Lord Adrien Garnier

Ramses, paced in his study after reading the reports form Lord Thrax and the Postings from this recent entity. Part of him smiled as he read who was participating in the newest version of the Malasian factions.

After searching the Archives of the Regency he could find no evidence of this man, Adrien Garnier ever existing within the service of regent Stormcrow. Interesting. It was if the gods have snapped their fingers and poof: instant credibility.

Ah Molly, after all the service he had done for her and their mutual hopes of uniting the two factions: The Regency and Royal Court of Light he was mildly disappointed in her yet again. It was too bad.

The northland Militia he had no issues with mainly because they were based in the Fel facet and actually extended them a helping hand.

He had heard about the Free Lancers but never had any interactions with them.

He walked over to his book shelf and pulled out the dusty treaty he signed with King Talon a few years back. A effort in futility is seemed since they dissolved the treaty by pigeon from their now lost Queen. Again another godly action. He had to smile to himself with the notion that Talon always said that the regency was never a valid government from the start, yet here he was backing this one, one could only guess why.

Adrien's letter made such statements as not meeting the people's needs and such. again that brought forth another chuckle. Where had all these people been when disasters struck theses land? Where were they when the people needed help to not only heal them but build a better futures fro themselves.?

The only one who took action was Empress Rynn. Thrax's news of her not liking the idea of missing out of the election was rather surprising since she was well aware of the Regency meeting times and minutes of the meetings made public. It was at best a thin excuse. But he had seen this before and was not surprised. It was too bad since they had worked very well in the past.

Lady Annawen...well...no need to go there.
.
Sid being there was not a surprise at all. He was very welcome to stay where he was

House Ventrue. He remembered Gailan's parting words of continued support of this Regency and yet he saw his guild's name on the list. He wouldn't make that mistake twice.

The others on the list did not concern him much since they had no dealings with the Trammel facet in years . No fault of theirs so he decided not to pursue that train of thought.

He hoped this Adrien fellow knew the personalities he was dealing with, they have always seem to squabble about themselves, change hearts and switch alliances on each other since he became active in this realm, now two it would seem. Well he was welcome to them. Ramses harbored no ill will, it boarded on mild amusement actually. Mainly since it seemed that for someone of Adrien's claim of stature and station could not at least afford a competent scribe. Pharaoh was spelled: P-h-a-r-a-o-h. At least in the common tongue that this letter was written in.

No, he would not barter the Regency's Lands or subject it's people to the likes of these people. He would not accept a progressive state being taken over by one who had no idea about its people or bent on tyrannical rule by the sword.

Ultimately he decided he would consider the people who would cohabit the Regency Lands as squatters and would respect any others claims if they respected the Regency's.

He sat down and took his time thinking of a response until it finally dawned on him that he should show the same respect they had shown him. Picking up his quill he began to write:

To: Adrien Garnier, self proclaimed leader of the Britanian Protectorate

From: Lord Regent Ramses

NUTS!

Yours in Virtue

Ramses

Adrien smirked lightly as he read over the brief letter and requested his messengers to copy and tack the "Regent's" response with his original open letter in response to the Baron

"Point proven? he bemused to an old man sitting at an ornate desk within the palace of Nu'jelm.

The Baron saw the open response and read it carefully. He shook his head in dismay, realizing nothing he had said, or could have said, would, or would have, made an ounce of difference. When minds are made up, diplomacy and compromise go out the window. "Ah well," he said to himself, "one cannot win them all." Then he returned to work on the Treaty preparations.

Vaen glanced over the open responses that were scribed onto many public town bulletin boards. He shook his head slightly, and began to scribe a little note of his own.

The only ruling body that will ever work in this world is one run by Lord British himself. The Regency never held my interest, and this new governing body is just as foolish.

I suggest to every single person reading this message to take these words very seriously. No government will ever give you what you want. Not the Regency, and not this Britannian Proctologists Guild either.

The only way any of you will ever have a true sense of freedom, as well as a true sense of security, is to learn to defend yourselves, and do not look upwards to some sort of governing body to watch over you. Do not buy into this "of the people, by the people, for the people" crap they will throw at you.

Educate yourselves. Arm yourselves. Govern yourselves.

Leaving no signature, he simply walked away without giving the matter another thought.

"You are lucky it was I who saw you first...", Mave said to the trembling messenger as he held the tip of his blade to the man's throat. "What lands were you to deliver these decrees to?"

"Cove, Vesper and Minoc m'lord", the man said quietly.

Nodding slightly, Mave pulled back his blade a bit. "Drop all of the papers and return, happy that you have your life and try to find out who desires your death enough that they would send you to deliver here."

With a quick nod, the man lept back on his horse and fled as fast as the animal's legs would carry him. Chuckling slightly, Mave picked up the papers and looked over the top one.

"Yet another feeble attempt at order. They will continue to squabble amongst themselves. You would think that by now they would see true order can only be established through military might and respect... or fear"

Chuckling again, he put one of the papers in his pack to look more closely at later and rode to the Armunn keep, leaving the papers on Taro's desk.

**obviously none of these papers made it to be displayed in Dark Order lands**

"No please!" shouted a voice on the crossroads outside of Britain. A messenger flew to the ground with a katana wedged into his chest. As the body hit the ground, a piece of paper dropped out of his hand. Suddenly, a man stood over the dead messenger removing the katana from his chest. The man was Spawn who was once again under the control of the god Oggaroth.

"Foolish mortal, screaming shall not help you" said Spawn now glancing at the piece of paper that fell out of the messenger's hand. Spawn took his right foot and stepped on the dead man's wrist with it. "What is this you have here? A letter? A scroll with pointless mortal wisdom on it?" Spawn said kneeling down to pick up the paper.

Spawn began slowly walking down the road towards Britain reading the piece of paper. After a few moments, He finished the letter and crumpled it up in his hand. A slight chuckle left his mouth as Spawn started to pace around the road.

"These mortals amuse me with their so called 'governments' to establish power and claim lands. More the reason for me to wipe their pathetic existance off this world." Spawn said to himself. He glanced down the road where a group of hunters were approaching. Spawn held his hand in front of him in a fist with the piece of paper still in it. "It shall be done... Those who follow the light shall die and I shall turn their lands to ashes!" continued Spawn as he glanced at his which began to glow a fiery orange color as the paper in his hand burned away. "But first, I need to shed some more blood" Spawn said to himself glancing back at the hunting group. He then began to walk towards them laughing evilly.
