*A very plain letter arrives sealed with the signet of Lord Dayel Stormcrow*

My Lord,

Pardon the abruptness of this letter, while you I am sure do not know me, I know well of you.My name is Adrien Garnier, a loyal servant and diciple of one Lord Dayel Stormcrow, a name I am sure resonates in your memory.

I would ask you to grant me the indulgence of a meeting, as I have a proposal you may be very interested in. I eagerly await your reply and until then, may the virtues guide and sustain you.

I remain your humble servant,
Lord Adrien Garnier
Agent of the King’s Hand

Gailan sat in his study reading , when the door opened slowly. Mallory entered and walked over. Gailan looked up and smiled " Good morning love." She leaned down and kissed Gailan softly and said "Good morning love, this arrived a moment ago." She layed a small scroll on the desk. Gailan reached over and opened it and read it aloud.

After reading it Mallory said "What do you think ?" Gailan replied "I think a meeting with would be good." Mallory walked over and got a feathered pen and some parchment. Mallory walked over to the desk smiling " Thursday evening love ? Say around 7 in the eastern sky ?" Gailan smiled and nodded.

Mallory leaned forward and began to write a response.

M'lord Garnier,

Mallory and I look forward to a meeting with you and yours. We are thinking Thursday around 7 by the eastern sky. If this does not work for you then by all means please send us a more appropriate time when you can be available. If this meeting needs to be sooner , we'll do what we can,

With respect,

Lord and Lady Ventrue
