The weather was always chilly, but this was odd, Nyxanna snuggled in her bed not wanting to get up. The room much colder than ussual. Her eyes opening slowly gleaming with purple intent.

Pulling herself groggily out from under the covers she heard a wolf call out in the distance. She opened her door slowly as a new smell hit her nose, something in the air was different. The world around her had changed. Peaking out her door her eyes widened as she watched snow lazily drift downwards softly falling towards the ground.

She was entranced and laughing ran out of the house. Instantly transforming for the warmth of her fur was needed Nyxy began to romp thru the drifts of snow howling in delight. She howled loudly to her brother, the sleepyhead who was still abed and all the Umbrans that were missing this glorious snow fall.

She was so happy for surely the Matriarchs had something to do with this unusually early fall of snow. She ran off she couldnt wait to see her grandmother. She must send word to grandfather at once!

Snow in Umbra! It was her first snow fall at least that she could remember...
