The Battle is on Wednesday at 9 pm eastern time final.

Battle rules:

If the Dark Order wins the battle, we have stormed the city and it would now be under our control.

If we loose, the siege is broken and we will be forced to retreat to Vesper and Cove. Until the time needed to strengthen and mass a march on Minoc again or another location....

The war zone then will be shifted to take place only in the Vesper area until another week passes to confirm the one month holding time needed.

The Big Battle will be held once again on Wednesday night at 9 pm eastern time.

I need all those involved to make sure that their troops know the ARPC PvP Rules.

So far, the only issues that take place at the moment, are accidental drobes because the dead come back gather their bodies and either stay in the area or mount up.

When dead, walk back to your body and gather items. Put the robe back on and walk/recall (without a hat or shield or weapon) totally out of the area.

In the battle there is only ONE death. And so when a person dies, they totally leave that area for the night unless further RP is needed. (example: people getting arrested, etc. after they are wounded but that will only take place when the battle is completely done.)

If you wish to take prisoners then it needs to be done before they are killed. If everyone is killed and in d robes I don't think its realistic to say you can take prisoners.

Example: We have two people left, ask for a surrender, if they die fighting so be it. If you want the dead to wear d robes and remove themselves from battle after one death then they are out of the fight, and are not going to be arrested.

Just something I want to clear up before Wednesday.

True but also a good amount of people go by if in drobes they are just severly wounded.

So dragging the wounded to cells isn't something out of the question if they do it that way and don't mind doing so.

Just to remove people from the field would be best though (since we've been having issues with people in drobes staying on the battle field) to do it the way you suggest on making the last remaining to surrender.

Example, last night in vesper. All of the dead Umbra stayed and all of the dead Sanctus/L*H/Northern Militia stayed. Both were out of the way, but it was just lagging the area. However, both were out of the way and clearly out of battle. So that was a good example of how to gather your things and leave.

Another example, last night Malic was -almost- drobbed but I helped save him Razz Only thing that happened was that be rode to get his body (it was far from barricade, so you cant blame him). When he gathered, his robe hit the ground. D|O was SURROUNDED by oranages, and a couple automaticly saw a guy mounted, in armor, amongst them. I was the only one who saw the deathrobe. He quickly got it back on, but I think the others were blinded and just in the heat of the moment. The situation was quickly fixed. It's just safer not to ride a mount, because most people are so use to seeing dead people walking.

Edit -- I, myself, am a good example of what -not- to do after being ressed. The small skirmish that began in Vesper, I sorta just ran back and forth on the bridge in my deathrobe. There was no one near my claim bridge at first...but it got trampled and over run! So I wasn't in the way, but it would have been easier if I left in the first place.

(Just pointing that out so Malic doesn't feel like I picked on him or anything Razz)

Just as a reminder to everyone.

This battle is a big push. Water barrels wont stop us from entering in the town. Only actual physical blockage.

I need everyone, I mean everyone to know that it is ONE death only. That once people die, they totally totally leave the area after getting their stuff, until the battle is FULLY over.

So please tell everyone multiple times that this is so. Also, make sure everyone knows the ARPC PVP rules.

This is not like the skirmeshes we've been having. And this is for Minoc.

I'm not sure Umbra will be at this one. Cein was just cured last night, so icly she is still testing the new limits of her form.

However, I will send any over who wish to take part. Cein's daughter might probably go. But, I am not forcing the guild to do it as a whole.

We understand the deal man. We kept the water in them to avoid spending 2 hours a day setting up and taking down. Thank you guys for respecting that Smile

Looking forward to tonight!

Uhh, obviously MTC won't be there...because we haven't been to any of the others, and it would look bad RP wise if we showed up out of the blue and are like "Whoa, let us pwn the invaders IRL, IC, and OOC." But I may show up to watch as Erickson...you never know.

Great battle guys. No complaints on either side, no rules broken, everything went on without a hitch (except the grey thieves looting stuff even though I killed one of them four times. He didn't know when to stop being ressed. Razz).

How it ended, it will only spread more and more RP throughout the lands for all. Smile

Thanks guys.

Well, we made a horrible mistake. I thought the barricade on the east bridge would hold longer than it did, by the time I got up there I saw every one of D|O on the edge, and you all came tearing ass over the bridge...

It was still impressive to have Minoc walled up like we did, and it made well for the story. Sure we were fairly even in numbers, but that stacks the odds against us still.
It was fun guys, we'll be fighting more in the future Smile

Well, live and learn I suppose. I'll be posting my IC stuff shortly.
