We are laying siege to the town. So Minoc is to be considered a war zone. D|O members going there will keep pressing the attack.

The next big battle will be posted once assured that things have been straightened out and when agreed upon a date. And only if depending on siege results. Which will be determined at the date of the next big battle.

Basically because of the outpouring of defenders that happened to be there last night... If we see no one there to defend things (in peak playing times, not like 12 am etc) up until the next battle then we won the siege and have gained control of the city and any battle afterwards would be that of driving us out.

Thats agreeable only if you plan on defending Vesper and Dark Cove. As well as "lay seige" to minoc. If you don't and people are trying to occupy said places, then we expect an immediate withdrawl. Take and Hold.

Yes, patrols/guards wont stop in those area's either.

Cove doesn't need that much guarding because of the rp surrounding the cursed land(shadow wraiths etc), and the fact that we own over 17 buildings in that area and live there. Razz Will be tough as hell to try to route us out of there.

Vesper though we are definitely keeping in the patrols and only have two fortifications/guard towers there. So we definitly need to keep up heavy patrols there.

I am so raiding Dark Cove with an army of MTC'ers. We will be stationed out of my 17x18 that is north of town right in front of the TnF GH. Bring it, sir. BRING IT!

Because of Decay...I've had to fill the Barrels of Water. Please consider this a barrer, during the Seige. Upon the Next battle We will refortify for effect.

Yep yep totally.

I have somewhat spread word to the D|O where we need to stay outside the barrier unless we see the enemy cross or if there is one person scouting in after hopping the barrier.

I'll write a post on the D|O forums to be mindful of the barrier and certain rulings of when crossing it.

Awesome...thanks for the Pics, Cein. I ment to do that but got caught up in the whole death and prepping everything I completly forgot!

I'll pass the word to the Alliance about crossing the fortifications and what might happen. Also let them know that the skirmishes along the line represent the "Siege" and our 15 min D-Robe timer. Hopefully, we can work on the "honor system."

Cein, I know everyone loved the pics of the battle and such, but I have to admit, nothing made me laugh quite so hard as "Prepare to be healed! For I am Dragothian! the Legendary Healer!" Awesome shot there. And the pic of Ollo... that was sad. I wasn't there, but I started ooc rooting for him!

yeah, the ollo pic was very important to grab because of his dramatic and heartfelt post in the crossroads.

I don't know what I can say about Drago IC that won't boost the character's ego more than what it already is.. haha to be honest, he probably has a potion for poor Ollo..

PostPosted: Thu Nov 29, 2007 1:29 pm Post subject: Where is the Dark Order in Vesper? Reply with quote

Many times since the Dark Order invaded Vesper, Roger de Clare has ridden through that city looking for signs of the Dark Order and has yet to see one individual belonging to that order.

It bothers me therefore that Tarothin Armunn would consider Minoc taken if the Dark Order ever finds no defenders at the barricade during "peak hours."

It is only fair that any attempt to breach the barricade be announced ahead of time to make it an actual role played event.

What if the defenders found no Dark Order beseiging them during peak hours? Would Tarothin agree that meant the seige was broken and the Dark Order sent packing? I do not think so, but it makes more realistic sense.

I've ridden through Dark Vesper at all hours. Morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, early evening, and late evening. Every day I've been there and yet the Dark Order claims they have occupied the city?

I'm relieved Tarothin qualified his statement by saying if they find the barricades undefended "during peak hours". By the same token, Vesper should be defended during "peak hours" but I have not seen them.

I can only speak for myself, but it is just bad luck (or good luck on your part Twisted Evil ) that you haven't seen me there. Almost everytime I have been ingame I have spent at least 30 minutes to an hour in Vesper and scouring the surrounding woods. The whole big rp with Ollo started when I was sitting at the bank for an hour waiting for anyone to run by. So I would say, be patient, keep trying, and hopefully people's times will coincide at some point.
