Breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out...................
These were the only thoughts she allowed fill her mind. Why? because she was severely depressed. She lay in bed her heart broken merely living for the birth of her child. She mustnt move or stray from it or yet another child would possibly die. So she laid there as Toren bade her to do.
Just waiting, waiting to give birth and be free of this. She seemed to always be waiting for something. Her heart had grown so jealous and cold these days. As she watched him leave to go and be with others. Free to walk and talk, laugh and live. Whilst she lay confined in a prison of stone. The cold hallways of the house sending a draft thru the rooms. There was no sound just her and Adara the females, confined to their beds, whilst her son ran free and her husband moved about as well with little desire to see her. Perhaps it had been the loss of the other child that had caused Toren to spend so little time with her. Perhaps he really did blame her for its death.
These were precisely the thoughts that ran thru her mind every time she heard a sound, hoping the door would open that he would come in and smile at her as he once did. She had left the bed once so excited to receive word that someone wanted her, someone needed her even if it was to simply cast a gate. Yet Toren had not been so enthused to see her he had been quite dissaproving and she had remembered once more how she was endangering his child...
It is strange as she stared up and saw the ghostly image of herself, the white haired necromancer enter the room. For once she was pleased with it, happy to see someone, anyone. Wisteria, she exclaimed the redhead sitting up in bed. Wisteria I am soo glad you are here! The white haired Wisteria wandered in and stared back for a moment. Wisty you were suppose to be dead, this is indeed all your fault. Had you not made the original mistake of coming back why, you would be safe and happy in your final reward with Maelwyn. The redhead teared up and hot tears poured forth coarsing down her cheeks running in rivers down her neck. Your wrong I had to come back for the children, for Toren, they needed me. Her words wavered. The white haired ghost stared at her angrily, OH? is this so? Tell me have you grown closer to either of your children, have you helped them in any way? Is your husband happy to see you each day and thankful for your return? Or is your life now worse than before, trapped in this cold place...
Wisty sobbed her head falling into her hands, great choking sobs rang thru the lonely house, where the child she loved lay sleeping. Adara she muttered, what about Adara. The white haired Wisteria laughed at the redhead. Oh aye you brought a madman in here, you endanger others and yourself with his presence. Truly what a boon for your daughter. Her mother has no bounds, she will do anything for her selfish heart. Wisty began to scream. Get out! Get out leave me be! The white haired vision smirked, dont be a fool calm yourself before you kill another child selfish beast.
Silence filled the room but the white haired woman stood still there watching her as she sat in misery. I am here Wisteria to start putting things to right. She said at last. To begin with there is no reason your daughter and you should lay in cold beds, seperated from one another. Adara will be happier with you near. At least you shall give her dreams comfort with her mother so close.
With that the doors to the room opened and the most bizarre sight met Wistys eyes as her daughter floated in as if being carried and was placed snugly next to her mother. The white haired Wisteria nodded. I will tell you now what I have done with my time. I have wandered these lands gaining knowledge and strength. I search now to free us from the binds you have let Strathmore place on us as well as seeing justice done to your sister and her cold heart. This is my duty and now you will learn yours.
Regain your mental strength, help your daughter, and birth your child. Prepare yourself for our final reunification, in which you and I will finally be put to rest. Enjoy your time with your family now weak one, I know not when the day will come but adhere to it. For it will come, sometimes sooner than you think. I wish to rest with finality and nothing you do shall bring us back from the grave this time... |
