A young boy runs into the city of Vesper, to deliver a sealed letter, addressed to Lord Tarothin. The envelop bears the seal of N|M upon it.

Lord Tarothin:

Let it be known that the Militia has in its custody a rather pretty elf woman, one known as Alessandra. She was very brave, and honorable in her capture. We have her in a secure location. Lady Alessandra has been very cooperative. She will not be released. Until this is decided wether it be in battle, or by discussion.

A messenger came quickly to Dark Cove's keep to hand Tarothin the letter personnally. Tarothin read the letter with great amusement.

Thank you for doing what I had figured would take some time to do.

Thank you for bringing Mave fully back to us.

Tarothin called in a soldier.

Inform Nick that our... *smiles* kindness is at an end in Vesper. Any breaking a law will be punished in full. Any found out in the neighboring woods will be deemed one of these militia and will be arrested on sight. At the slightest resistance, they shall be killed.

Also for him to have the patrols search everywhere for this militia. If people need to be killed for others to talk about their location then do so.

Turning back to the messenger as the soldier left. Tarothin handed back the letter and informed him to pass it along to Mave.

There will be no discussion, only death for those that dare defy us.
