The storm was blowing in full force by the time Drayden had made his way to the outpost that the Warden had chosen for their meeting. It was the dead of night and bitterly cold. The Drow pulled the blood red cloak around his body, attempting to shield himself from the fierce windchill. His intelligent blue eyes scanned the forest line ahead, looking for any movement or hidden figures.

Almost on cue, the Warden himself stepped out from the darkness, just beside Drayden. "Still alive hmm? Calamyr?" Eldan spoke with impassiveness to the Drow mage. Which was an improvement from the curses that had been exchanged between these two before in the past. They had been enemies, at one point, the Warden had attempted to kill him by wounding him with arrow fire and then trying to finish the job by throwing him from a cliff side into the sea.

That attempt had failed in the end. Drayden had ended up in Malas for some time after that. He had not seen this blond haired elf in a long time. "Quite alive, thank you." Drayden said as he seat himself beside the fire at a small table. "I believe that we have a common enemy Eldan."

"Do we...." The Warden set his bow against the wall and sat across from Drayden, watching him expectantly. "You spoke of a plan." The drow nodded slowly,"That I did, one that requires a group of your skill. Involving the same Dark Order you are fighting my brave..Warden of the North."

Eldan thought about this for a moment, and then nodded a bit. "Continue then Drow. If I like what you say, I may let you live," He grinned a bit.

Drayden looked intently at Eldan for a moment and then continued,"The Dark Order is a dangerous enemy. It would do the militia well to obtain as much information about them as possible. Thus, I am suggesting capturing one of theirs. And I know the one to be taken. I am willing to assist in any way I can. As I do have personal interest in this elf that is part of this Dark Order."

This statement caused Eldan to look at Drayden in disbelief, "A elf woman in the Dark Order?" Drayden silently nodded. "Your feelings mirror my own. This is a portrait of her. If you must incapacitate her, i I will be at your compound to revive her, if necessary."

The Warden stood immediately, "What you ask is very dangerous. But it is also a plan I have not thought of. I will confer with the proper people for this. I must go now, however, if we are to have time."

"Go then my Warden friend. And the virtues protect you and your brave Militia."

With that, the Ranger stepped back into the freezing winds, taking to the forests, running as silently as ever...
