Clouds of blood red rolled over the walls of the Lyceaum, Fong found himself standing in the center gazing up at the skies. This is a bad omen. Fong thought to himself. Looking around he noticed that the Lyceaum was completely empty. Slowly he searched the great library, he could find no scribes, no students, nothing. Making his way back to the entrance Fong noticed the torn remnants of a scarlet banner. Leaning over slightly he touched the cloth, when he looked up he found himself in Magincia. Standing before him was a man clad in armor of the darkest night. Fong stumbled to his feet as Isk turned to face him. A laugh unlike any Fong had heard came from the armor. Darkness fell over Magincia, Screams rang out and the smell of fire filled the air. Fong ran to see what had happened. As he turned a corner he came upon a demonic creature unlike he had ever seen before. He heard the deep booming voice beginning an incantation, Fong muttered a combination of spells and the creature fell back, but was soon replaced by two more. Wonderful Fong thought as a spell blasted into the building next to him. A blast of fire consumed Fong and he fell to the ground. The demons seemed to multiply, more and more surged into the town. Fong seemed to be paralyzed, Some of them past his frozen body, taking it for dead. Suddenly a sharp pain in the back of his head ,then all was black. Fong was sitting straight up, covered in cold sweat. Looking around he noticed the Innkeeper sitting in a chair in the corner looking very concerned.
“You’ve been yelling and trembling for the past twenty minutes sir…We were getting worried.”
Fong rubbed the sleep from his eyes, trying to grasp hold of the fleeting memories of the dream.
“A pitcher of water please, and no worries, I’ll be fine.” Fong faked a smile to the inn keeper.
As she closed the door behind her Fong sighed, This was truly a bad omen.

Lord Fong had described a terrible vision of torture and violence to the two that stood before him. At once, they realized that they must go to Magincia and have a look around.

The scene was atrocious. No animals of any sort. Not even a single bird. The magics and moongate were sealed from use. An ominous scene of panic distracted the townsfolk as they packed up their meager belongings and filtered toward the docks. What was happening to the city?

The events of the dream now came back to the mayor. Isk. Yes Isk. The one who had attempted to drain all life from Verity Island, was now, quite possibly, doing the same to the island city of Magincia.

Roger de Clare rode into Magincia-Trammel and saw Fong, Daz and the lady Tatiana Alexi. He rode up and greeted them

He listened to their concerns about Fong's dreams and the strange things happening in Magincia. He had nothing new to add to their observations.

Then he rode out with Lady Sylvan and Lady Shalowa to fight a demons at a temple which was overrun with them. One of the demons in particular proved very tough.

After it fell and lay dying, it laughed and said, "I am Grim Omen. Humanity and all life in Sosaria is doomed. A great invasion of hell itself will sweep the land of mortals! You will see..."

"That was its name?" Shalowa asked.

"Sounds more like a threat," quoth Roger. And he remembered the visions some spoke of about Magincia.
