Dory,

I am surprised, I heard of your behaviour in the tavern the other day, and besetting ceinwyn with flying objects. I must say as i lay suffering from the lashing I took due to the errant behaviour of your daughter and my son this was upsetting news. Apparently there has been some misunderstanding for what has occurred and you are not fully aware of all said details. Or surely as a mother, you would look inward, as I have done for a small portion of the blame.

I know that Keldril seeks a meeting with Xeros regarding this but I feel you and I should meet and discuss, going forward what must be done as well. Please let me know what time this eve you will be available to meet.

Your newfound In-Law
*smirks*
Merci d'Rue

Doireann received the letter, and smiles towards the courier, and offered to give a small tip in thanks. He waved his hand, and smiled, showing he would await her response. She read the letter and sighed a bit. Her temper had gotten away from her... again. Now it was time to make ammends.

Dearest Merci,

First of all, I would like to apologize. My temper got the best of me, as it was mingled with worry. My daughter has told me you offered a place to rest when her father was still being stubborn. For that, you have my heartfelt thanks.

As a mother, yes, I do blame myself. However, in my panic, I chose to blame Umbra instead. Please be assured, my mind is quite clear and am in full control of my emotions. I believe it would be wise to speak. Perhaps we can speak sooner? Afterwards I fear I may be tending a few wounds.

Your partner in insanity,
Doireann De'Vir

PS - Your courier is very polite. Make sure he is suitably rewarded.
