Dear Leaders of Sosaria,

It is no secret that an evil plagues most of your cities, if it hasn't, it most likely will. The man known as Spawn, a dear friend of many of us, has been taken over by the god Oggaroth. It hurts me, as it does many of you, to know that there is little fighting chance for our friend against the god Oggaroth. The true evil has defeated many soldiers from many Cities. An attempt to capture and hold the god captive was failed by the Regency. They are given much respect for putting their live's on the line in order to save Lord Spawn.

It frightens me along with the Mayor of Moonglow, that Oggaroth could strike our fair Island. I'm not worried that he'll prevail but I rather the threat not make it that far. I wish not for the one once known as Spawn, to attack Verity Island. While some of you may ask, "Why is Mr.Thormear educating me on something I already know?". The answer is simple really, we all know of the threat, but none of us want to handle it. Army's, Militia's, Organizations all over Sosaria refuse to try and kill the God, in fear that it will bring inevitable death of the host, Spawn.

I write to each and everyone of you to ask of a simple request. I would like to assign the Militia of Moonglow to hunt and track down the God Oggaroth. I would like to rid Sosaria of this evil, I would like to ensure the safety of Verity Island. I request that Moonglow Militia have access to each of your Cities, in order to properly track down Oggaroth. None of your citizens will be harmed or put in danger, at most they would be questioned of any signs of the God. Your militias and soldier's have nothing to worry about, for Moonglow has no quarrel with anyone but Oggaroth.

You have the word, Semper Veritas, of the Moonglow Town Council that none will be harmed. We merely ask for the access and open arms to enter your land and search it, without being harassed. Some of you are dear friend's of mine and I hope that you trust in Veritys Island's soldiers and myself. I expect a response as quickly as possible.

As much as I would wish to help the lands, it is nau up to me to give orders as you requested. It is nau I that leads DarkCove. Imryrr, my daughter now commands the Dark Order and it's holdings.
It is with a sigh filled heart that I pass this letter of request to her, as I can guess my daughter's reaction.

If in the future, you need my aid, please do na ask so officially as you will tie my hands if you do so.

PS: What is a "Vice" Mayor? Is it more like a vice or more like a mayor? Or both?

I care nothing for this Spawn person.
As for Oggaroth, he is not considered a criminal while he is in DarkCove territory. He will remain free to walk where he pleases on our lands as long as the travel tax is paid. If it is not, then it us up to the Dark Order and it's allies to see to, and not you.
I suggest you choose your path wisely.

It is with much regret that I must decline your offer.

Indeed, you have a noble cause, one that I wish you the best of luck with. However, Umbra maintains a friendship with all sides involved, and would not be willing to work toward the capture or cure of Lord Spawn, or Oggaroth. Likewise, we will not assist Lord Oggaroth in destroying Moonglow. The current situation regarding Moonglow and our other dark allies in Dark Cove also reinforces our neutral stance on this issue.

I wish to let you know, though, that any death you meet out will only feed and fuel the demon lord, making it stronger. So take care how you deal with Him.

Of course, as you are married to an Umbran, and have Umbran residents within your care, I doubt that Oggaroth would harm you or they. In the event that I am proven wrong, and you, your children, or Audrina is harmed, send word immediately.

The Malitia of Moonglow has my permission to enter Magincia in search of Oggaroth, if in chase of Oggaroth at the time of entry ye may bare arms. If ye come only searching his location our guards will expect all arms stowed unless ye come across the Oggaroth. Should his blood spill on Magincia soil at the hands of the Moonglow Malitia, fear not. Should the host, Lord Spawn, need to cross over to the other plane, to rid the lands of the demon Oggaroth, fear not our rath. There shall be none.
