(Spelling on harassment)

MTC is being griefed and harassed to no end by two guilds: Black Tower "*"and Demented Souls "D.S."

The reason for this, the other night at an event that start at Poets Garden, a member by the name of Delusional D.S. came and started dropping "Black Person" names and Film Actors Guild words. (Hidden meaning in that..) Anyways..MTC made it clear that we thought they were pathetic and rude to no extent for saying that.

Now books are spred across Sosaria claiming this or these guilds plan to "Take Over" Moonglow and protect it etc.. This is -not- a plot that MTC has stirred up, this is pure grief and harassment.

I have a ton of recruits who are trying to learn to better themselves in RP and now I have to try and teach them to ignor these people like you ignor nor bullys in elementary school. The attempt to reason with both GM's has failed, neither give two poops about what I have to say. The continuously stand at Moonglow bank and call MTC cowards, unhonorable etc..please ignor this.

I'm not quite sure what to do, other then ignor them.

So far you and MTC are well within the right, Beo. Just remember to keep your head above the water and do -not- reduce yourself to anything remotely near their tactics, which I am sure you know.

The best bet would be to collect screenshots and names and report all of the griefers. Some GMs do care about keeping roleplayers just as happy as other customers and unfortunately, you will have to keep trying until you get one. These people need to be reported and action needs to be taken against them. Griefing and Harassment are bannable offenses as clearly defined in the TOA and TOS.

Unfortunately, they are acting like roleplayers. They are preaching and not really breaking terms of service. I'm not sure if a GM would actually do anything about it. Maybe to put them all on ignore is the best way to get peace of mind.

If they want to enter the community, unfortunately causing drama isn't the way to go, we don't need more drama or guilds that promote it.

As a community, I don't think we should support the guild unless they choose to play nicely and enter the community like the rest of us did, by holding events, interacting friendly with other roleplayers, and generally proving their interest in being productive members of the roleplay community.

Due to the new formations in the ARPC, I also believe it is important to stand unified against these things, another group may be harassing someone else in the future, and by not standing unified we create even more rifts within our own community.

I'm sorry Cein, no matter how many times he pokes and tries to tickle you the fact is short of those 7 emotes was the only time I saw this guy even try to RP. The people he brought with him did nothing even close. While I didn't invite him to Umbra for tea I did let him know that neither community recognizes or tolerates behavior of that caliber. If they want to RP then they should try and making religious and ethnic slurs isn't a way to get started. People speak of RP'ers becoming or being unified, I saw many there to watch the comotion and no one said one word to back MTC up at all. Unification starts with taking a stand against people who break the rules the communities have laid out and turning your backs on them as a group.

*sorry, just my rant after seeing MTC getting totally harrassed.

Book dropping, insults and other bs is no way to RP. RP wise these people will not be recognized as the governing body in Moonglow. The fact that claims were made an no one said anything was appalling.

The name calling by Arrow Head was rude..and not a word was said. The spamming of "Beowolf is a r tard" is not RP. A known griefer and Pker is in the Alliance ranks.

And there was a warning about Samurai Jack on these boards a while back. I would put the twinks on ignore and walk away, they demanded a war and when asked to go to Fel they declined. They showed their hand...time to ignore them and walk away. Let them act like children.

Show them the amount of houses you own on Moonglow island. Might deflate their balloon, but ignoring them would be the best choice.

Ya...the entire time I was there, I saw no such rping. I saw them preaching that MTC is dishonorable, cowards and that we won't war them. I saw them preaching that Moonglow is important and needs a new leadership. But when Ceinwyn confronted them and asked "What are your motives?" the only response was "well Moonglow is important". I'm not debating whether or not these guys are trying to rp, I know their pissed off because we called them on their mistake. When offered the chance to prove their worth, six of them and one of me. None followed into the red gate. Basically, they don't have my respect because of their immaturity and attitude, they talk alot of smack but rather just sit in town and carry on. The only talk I heard from them consisted of "lol, omg's" and everything else.

I at first, like the rest of my guild, was angered and wanted to "clomp". But after seeing them back out so many times over and over again, I just hope the rest of my guild, like me, understands their a waste of time. I appreciate the amount of people who have stopped by Moonglow to witness this festival of disrespect. But if you wouldn't mind, throwing in the odd "Check out how many homes they own. Check out their history. Grow up and move on." anything would be appreciated.

Heh, Sounds like you guys are doing exactly what needs to be done in a situation like this. You're not feeding it, you're making them feel and more importantly look stupid. And while doing it, you're not breaking character. I give MTC my kudos.

I don't. I asked them several times what the point of what they were doing was, they never gave an answer. All they could say was dishonorable this and that. Me talking to the one guy kind of distracted his guild while the other guild in their alliance was preaching. They had nothing better to do than carry on in Moonglow, challenging MTC to fel, yet never going when Beo actually opened a gate.

Let's keep this post on the topic at hand, just a reminder since I can see things getting a bit heated.

As long as we stick together we have nothing to worry about, they'll get tired and realize they can't do anything against the RP community as a whole.

I keep hearing now that these people have alts within our community. If so, is someone going to bring that up? Who are they alts of?

I fed it to one of there members in fel...seems he likes the taste of taking the pwn...~*_*~ "Sir Lion of Beef, 7-29-07" I did hear that there alts in the community but i am not sure of names and i don't want to wrongly accuse anyone.
