Hello my name is Blackstaff and I have justr returned to UO after a 7 year absence. I used to be the Historian of the player run city on Wintermoor and a member of the Order of the Silver Dragon [OSD]. I remember many great roleplaying events like the Nostur'yl story line whitch took place over multiple events and had importent parts for PC;s to play such as Smogg Azalian and The Cult of Infernal Necromancy[Ncr] in Nostur'yl's case.
Upon returning to the game I went to the rune libary and started to walk down memory lane. Rivendell is somewhat still there but the Hungry Halfling is in ruins. Serpants Cross Tavern in the same condition as before but no one was there at the time of my visit. Wintermoor and Xanthar's museum gone to. Any ways I was just wondering what the RP community was like nowadays and where to go in ters of active player run establishments and towns. Hope to see all of you in game. Wink

Welcome back!

There are not many people left in Felucca, especially RP'ers.

Some good spots to check are Hanses Hostel (this is in Malas, one of the new lands). Zento City (this is in Tokuno, another one of the new lands). Moonglow, and Umbra City (in Malas).

If you need help finding any of the above places, just PM me and I can give you detailed directions.

Yes I remember you Molly although I still have many cobwebs in my brain its all starting to come back to me. I remember around that time Smogg was either inviting me to his tower near Trinsic for dinner and to debate philosphy and magic or at either other's throats when I interfeared with his plans. All that remains of Rivendell is ruins and Wintermoor is gone completly. I was wondering where the community hotspots are now. What player runs taverns are you likely to find a few people at during peak times? Are there any active player run cities around? It would be nice to see all of you ingame.
