Dorieann rode through Umbra, looking carefully around. He's not here. She drove by the Sepulcher, frowning. Nor here too. She sighed in frustration and rode her swampy down back to the moongate. Halfway there, she saw him and her eyes narrowed. He gave her a slight, sexy smile. Oh, no you won't, she thought as she pulled her swampy to stop.

She got off the swampy and headed towards X'eros, who still looked happy to see her, not knowing what was to come. She went to him, and pulled back, hitting his arm.

"It's your fault!" she yelled, glaring at him. X'eros' face registered shock, his ears flickering as he watched her.

"What's wrong?" his face showed concern as he stared at her.

Her voice got louder. "As if you didn't know.! You should have prevented it." She went to hit him again, but he caught her hand, turning on her.

"Stop that! Now tell me what is wrong?"

"I'm pregnant!"

"Interesting," she heard from behind her. She turned to see Ceinwyn staring at them. Doireann gave a weak grin, and then watched Ceinwyn leave. Hmm, intersting is right she thought, then watched as a slow smile began to form on his lips, and felt another urge to hit him. He wrapped his arms around him, and she grumbled. "Do you know how hard it will be to fight when my stomach is out a mile?"

"It will strengthen you as a warrior," he said, and held her closer, chuckling.

"It is still your fault, alright?" she asked, looking up. He nodded, still smiling at her, his ears flickering as he kissed her gently.

"Of course," he said, as they stood absorbing the news, their eyes watching the roads together.

He was standing on the bridge, waiting for a fight, a glimer of anticipation of excitment and a thirst for blood in his eyes. ... he did get a fight alright, but not something he had expected. For there she was, riding towards him. He thought nothing of a fight when he glimpsed of her. His expression became more mild as his lips curved into a grin.

Doireann dismounted from her swamp dragon and approached him in a rather bold manner. As she neared, he greeted her in a warm manner but only earned a hit on the arm and an intense angry glare from her green eyes!

"It is all your fault!!! You could have prevented it!!!" she shouted.

This all took him by surprise. "What is wrong?" he said a bit concerned, still relaxed.

"I am holding things now!! And it is your fault!!" she shouted.

"I can see you are holding a shield... how is that my fault??" He said with a bit more concern.

"It is not the shield, i have two things!!" She made to hit him again, but this time he stopped it. "Tell me!! What is it you have that you are blaming for??" He snarled slightly, not as patient as before.

Just then, the matriach Ceinwyn rode up, somewhat interested in their squabbling and just enough to hear Doireann say "I am pregnant!!!"

His eyes widened with shock. The matriach Ceinwyn spoke, "how interesting" At this, she rode off towards the Schulputure.

X'eros growled slightly as he said "what???". Out of shock, he had no idea what to do, had very little time to react. Then suddenly it all hit him at once. "She is pregnant from my seed..." He thought as a slow grin formed on his lips.

He thought she was going to hit him again but then embraced him instead. She was worried that with this pregnacy, she would not be able to fight. But he knew she could some way, she was an able and exceptional warrior. "A mere pregnacy would not get in her way, it would only make her stronger" he thought.. and even said it.

Moments went by as they talked... both of them calming down and accepting the inevitable. There was talk about feeding, and changing.... he did not seem to like the idea of changing them.

"I am not changing a diaper.." he growled.

"Oh yes you will" she teased.

He folded himself and growled until he thought of something. "Those infant chambors... the ones the matriach shown us."

He then mentioned this idea to her. She did not seem to like the idea. "But i want to be there for them.. to hold them.. " she said softly.

"They will be too helpless during the first stages. I do not want them to be vulnerable." As he said this, her eyes widened slightly. "what if my sister found out about it? I am sure their aunt Faith would be trouble if she found out about them." he said.

"I will speak to my matriachs about it when i next see them." he said.

"where will they be raised? have you thought about that?" she asked.

"I will speak the the matriachs about that too." he said.

The argued slightly about minor details of their bedding.

Finally he said, "well... since these brat.. er... infants will be born. Perhaps it is time to... " he delayed... "bonded in some way..."

She then leaned forward, with an smile, a glitter in her eyes. "Yes?" she said.

His ears flickered slightly, aggravated with himself for delaying the question. "What ever it is done on the surface. What a male and female would do.. what is this term again.. it is still new to me."

"Marriage?" She asked with a smile.

He nodded quietly as he said, "marriage.. er....doireann.. will you marry me?"

At this, she became excited and gave him a deep kiss. They broke the kiss as she said.. "yes!!"

The rest of the evening went on. Of any battle he ever fought, the battle between sexes was one of the more challanges he had.
