Sadira just layed in her bed. Her eyes dried from the tears she cried for most of the evening. Just as she would go to sleep, she would roll over feeling the coldness of Zarlox's armor. The feel would just shoot another ache into her heart. She just layed there gazing at the wall. Zarlox was right, she did take love for granted. She never thought once about how her actions would make him feel. She believed that he knew of her love for him, and that was all that was needed. It was obvious that was not the case. When he stated his claim, and she saw things from his view. She felt as little if not more so than a rat and as low as Umbran mud. It all started with her having to talk with Toren.
She knew the words that man spoke were untrue. He had claimed that Toren had done horrid things. Things she could not imagine the Toren she knows committing. Toren would never do something as vile as he said. She had to meet with him, to see what he had to say. He was like a big brother to her. It was during a corresponse with him, that she was attacked. It happed out of the blue, the pain slipped her into an unconscious state. When she awoke, there were a group of Moonglow troops surrounding her. They quickly got her into the Hanse, where a healer named Galnor took a look at her. He bandaged her wound and gave her instructions. The instructions were therefore forced again by Ivory later on. She met with Toren. She asked him, he,of course, denied the charges. She believed and trusted him. She didn't know why Zarlox was so sure of it. Had he witnessed it himself? Perhaps if he had, there be more merit in those words.
A dull ache from the attack brought her back to the now. She tried to readjust herself in bed to help ease it. She could feel the baby move, something that would bring so much joy to a woman, left her aching even more. Zarlox should beable to enjoy this experience, but because of her he was being denied it. He said she brought him a great joy, but it seems only pain. Perhaps its that look he had...the one she saw in his eyes when she informed them she wished to be Bailos' queen. No this look was more painful. There were times he seemed so motionless, she had wondered if he were even in bed. Perhaps he wasn't, but she dared not to look. She didn't know which would hurt her, him not being there or him being there staring aimlessly at the ceiling with that look in his eyes. This seems to be their thing, things go good then they fight. Their fights were always so passionate, which she took it as a sign of their love being so strong. But that look..his sadness tore at her like a starved wild beast ripping through its prey. She would rather die a hundred deaths than to have to see that look in his eyes, knowing she was the one that put it there. She looked upon her wedding ring, a soft smile curled. He remembered her favorite stone. Was she truly worhty of such a ring. Was she even worthy enough to have him as her husband. She clinched her fists and closed her eyes. She swore to herself and to all that was good, that she would do her best to become the wife that Zarlox deserved.
