~THE SCHOOL OF CULTURAL ETIQUETTE~

Is now asking for volunteers world-wide for the highly revered positions of Teachers &/or Instructors.

Cat Lyxen & Ditto Armunn ask one and all individuals to take their spare or bored time and spend it on teaching others in our world about things that you know about. You can be a leader, a follower, a servant, a soldier, a elf, a orc, a three-headed leap frog cause it don't matter who or what ya are as long as you know something about something.

(Teaching/Instructing positions are not full nor long-term commitments as this may cause wars, or someone may get eaten, if teachers from opposing belief structures are together for too long. )

Some Examples of Knowledge to be taught Could Be things like:

Royal/Noble Etiquette -ex: what fork to use when dining, who to call "Lord" or "Lady", what the proper dance distance is for ballroom dancing, etc.

Orcish Etiquette I: Visiting An Orc Village-This could cover tributes, who is ok to bash over the head and who isn't, & why it's polite to show your boogie to everyone after having picked your snout or nose, etc.


Pirate Etiquette I: Taverns- What to do when a pirate throws an ale bottle at your head, the proper times to say "yar" and such, why it's okay to steal or kill but never insult a pirate's parrot, etc.

Umbran Lore:- I do na know much about this one myself, so I would be a student in this class.

World Historical Figures - Brief biographies on our world's famous and infamous individuals &/or cults, such as Lord British and those other people.

*Common for the commonperson* - A specialized class devoted on how to act in public in a more general sense. Teachers & guest speakers to be rotated on a day/time convenience but will try to make this at least a monthly class if not weekly. Probably one of our most important classes especially for "young"sters or those "new" to the lands.


Elven Woodcraft - This class is for elven carpentry, and students might be restricted to just elves depending on how the teacher feels about such things.

Orc Tongue, Elf Tongue, Drow Speak, etc - These classes would be for BASIC CONVERSATION ONLY, as some cultures do not agree that all should know their language.

Vorpal Bunny Hunting - Helpful techniques on the art of Vorpal Bunny hunting. The many uses of what the bunny hole holds.

Fencing As An Artform - How to better hit stuff with your pointy weapon. Obtaining the best bleeding effects. etc.

~These are just a tad bit of the many things that can be taught at the School of Cultural Etiquette. If you have a class type in mind that you would like to teach, just send in a REPLY or, if you prefer, a more PRIVATE MESSAGE, then that would be acceptable as well.

~FieldTrips are not only acceptable but encouraged for our teachers/instructors. (Just please make sure your students are correctly INSURED for safety, such as a small group of lightbringers taking a historical tour through Umbran territory, or if studying the rituals of the OgreLords, etc)

~The school will be held mostly on the weekends. The grand opening will be announced as this ad asking for teachers was announced, but will most likely be held this Friday on the eve of the eastern sky.

Vanya was passing by as she saw the flyer posted. A smile quickly covered her face as she sent for a messenger. She quickly wrote Lady Cat and Lady Ditto a message:

I am interested in teaching the class on the elven tongue. I feel I have much to offer and can be to great assistance. If you are still looking for help by the time this letter reaches you send me a pidgeon or a letter back with my messenger.

She handed the parchment to her messenger and sent him off to find the two women.

*Having recieved Vanya's reply, Ditto tucked the letter in her skirt pocket and bid the messenger to wait in the school with cookies and milk as she went to tell Cat the good news and to write a response.*

Suilad Dear Vanya Thenidiel!

Cat and I were most happy to get your letter and offer of help. The Elven tongue is such a delicatly beautiful way of speaking. We would be most assuredly thankful for your teachings here at the School.
Our first classes will likely be tomorrow eve. The current time estimate is eightish by the eastern sky. (I will be sending off more postings and flyers with the day and time of the school's opening this evening as soon as I check again with Cat that the time set is still good.)
