Stepping out of Blackgard, Toni looked around. She heard the bantering of two children and recognized the one to be her own, Niall. What is that boy up to now? She thought to herself. Making her way towards the voices she saw Morus approach and smiled.

Before Morus had reached her she felt a tight squeeze around her hips and looked down to see Niall hugging her tightly. Stroking his hair gently she smiled down at him.

Mama...Mama...I have a new friend! he exclaimed excitedly.

Oh you do, do you? Who? Niall pointed at the little girl standing just a few feet away.

The children picked up their squabble again and to her dismay she watched her son run over and kick the little girl in the leg.

"Niall!" turning to Morus she spoke sternly again, "Morus! Speak to your son!"

Hearing a small voice behind her, she turned to see a young girl. "Yes?" She looked over the girl's appearance as she spoke. This child was definitely not from Sanctus.

" I was asked to give this book to any blonde ladies I saw here." Extending her hand she offered a small book to Toni. " I have more to deliver."

Taking the book in hand, Toni opened it and began to read...

To my feisty blonde beauty. I hope this letter finds you in good health. I just want you to know I enjoyed our little encounter the other afternoon, my hands searching your body. Well, just to let you know, I have your scent now. And I can track you anywhere you go. So pleasant dreams. Remember I will be watching you. As for that red head, I have something else in mind for her.

Your Scumbag

Toni closed the book and her face paled. Looking at her Morus asked for the book, yet she seemed not to hear him.

Glancing to her right she saw the little girl heading for the cave....

"Wait..."

The girl turned to face her. "What?"

Toni looked down at her. "Who gave you this book?"

"My master sent it."

"Who is your master?"

The girl looked down at the road then back up, "Well...it was actually that red headed one who told me to deliver these."

Toni looked more perplexed.

Morus stepped forward and asked of the book.

"I have another, do you want it?" she asked of him.

"Give me the book" he demanded extending his open hand.

She placed the book in his hand....

The child placed a book in Morus’ hands and he began to read its contents. When finished reading he slammed the book closed stuffed it in his pack and turned to his wife.

“My love this book does it speak of you?”

Toni did not look at him she looked to the ground and replied softly “It does.”

The child turned to continue on her way delivering books. “More to deliver she said as she began to walk away.

“Stop!” Morus demanded and the little child turned on her heels looking very annoyed. “I have much to do” she said defiantly. Morus approached her “Take a message to your master” “what is it?” she asked. Morus knelt down beside her and whispered in her ear so none could hear. “Tell your master when I find him he will suffer my wrath.” And with that he returned to his wife’s side.

Morus spent the night laying in bed beside his wife watching her as she tossed and turned in her sleep the recent events obviously taking their toll on her. As he laid there his mind raced He tried to find comfort in the fact that someday soon this man would be brought to justice but there was no comfort in that thought. This man had compromised the safety of his family. Morus sat up in bed at that thought “no” he said to himself. “This man will face justice yes but not Sanctus justice he will suffer McStravick justice as only I can give.” And with that he got silently got out of bed dressed himself and slipped out into the streets heading for his tower.

Upon reaching his tower he knelt in front of the stone ankh. He at first was going to pray to the virtues for forgiveness but stopped himself. His eyes shifted to a tile on the floor behind a column to his left. He slowly moved over to it and slid the tile away reveling a hidden teleporter a slight smile creased his lips as he stood and stepped on the teleporter.

The room was pitch black form lack of windows to let any light in. he slowly made his way across the room until he felt the small forge. He felt around the floor for the kindling he had left there. He fumbled around in his back looking for a flint and stone to light the kindling after some time the fire was lit and the forge cast a dull glow about the room. Morus looked around the room looked down at the table with his instruments place on it “soon we will play again” he said almost as if speaking to them.

Morus stood staring at the table almost seething in anger recalling the words in the book.

I just want you to know I enjoyed our little encounter the other afternoon, my hands searching your body. Well, just to let you know, I have your scent now. And I can track you anywhere you go. So pleasant dreams. Remember I will be watching you.

He overturned the table sending its contents flying across the room
“All I have is a name” he yelled at the walls, “What good is a name without a face!” He yelled again throwing an axe across the room. He walked over to the cell in the corner of the room and slowly ran his fingers along the bars and claming himself said “Soon we will spend much time together my friend I only hope the accommodations are to your liking.
