Audrina stood near the entrance of Moonglow City watching each passerby. She stood examining each person carefully making sure her target would have something of great value to her. Initially she had no intent on killing her prey, but she knew that if it came to murder she would have no problem doing it.
A man came along with a woman Audrina would later find out to be his daughter. He was dressed in dark attire and looked rather well off.
This is it. She mumbled under her breath.
She made her way towards the man and begin to speak with him. He was quickly able to see her intentions by the way she was throwing herself at him.
Celebate?! Audrina burst out laughing.
She knew then that she was not going to get what she wanted the way she normally did. She grew aggressive and pursued to verbally attack the mans daughter, knowing that it would provoke him to strike her.
At once the two went into battle. Terrifying cries could be heard from the mans daughter as she looked down at her lifeless father. He put up quite the fight and the battle lasted long. He clearly was a trained Samurai.
Audrina bent over his body, ignoring the cries from the woman, and begin searching his pouch for valuables. He proved to be a good target. Good armor, a house key, a good amount of money. Audrina was satisfied. She grabbed the arm of the man and began to drag his lifeless body back to the moongate.
He will make a good meal for the Matron. she said to the woman.
The crying from the daughter only came as an annoyance and Audrina quickly pointed her warfork at her as well.
I can make you a meal as well. she laughed.
She watched the Matron feast on the nameless mans body at the Sepulcher. She sat and watched feeling not one bit of regret, only pride. _________________ Darrien_Church: he asked what was the church of england based on

Mai Ling was frozen, in shock, having witnessed the death of her father, Lord Takeda. They had just spoken a few moments ago. Her father spoke of meeting his destiny, a subject he had talked of quite frequently in the last few months. Takeda proceeded to a portal, and Mai felt compelled to follow him. On the other side, they arrived in the dark lands, near Moonglow.
Mai followed her father as he made his way to the town. Near the city gates, he encountered a rather odd woman. Mai watched with curiosity as the woman approached her father. This woman made advances towards Takeda, coming very close to him, and putting her mouth on his ear. Lord Takeda was obviously disgusted, promptly rejecting the woman’s advances. The woman then turned to Mai, threatening to harm Takeda’s daughter. The woman taunted Takeda, poking at him with her weapon. Mai felt no fear, for she knew her father was a mighty warrior, and he would trounce this wicked creature. Mai watched as the two began to fight, feeling confident her father would be the victor.
To Mai, the battle seemed to last longer than the usual spars in which her father fought. Suddenly her father began to bleed profusely. Then, in what seemed to be slow motion, Mai watched her father fall to the creature. She screamed out in disbelief of what she had just witnessed. The man whom she had grown to adore lay lifeless. The wicked woman bent over Takeda, running her hands through his clothing, taking his belongings. Then, with what seemed to be the strength of a man, this evil creature began to quickly drag Takeda’s body toward a portal. The woman cackled some words at Mai, but to Mai, the words were unintelligible. Mai only stared, traumatized by her father’s death.
As the woman absconded with Takeda’s body, Mai suddenly snapped out of her daze. She followed the woman through a portal, hoping to retrieve her father’s remains. On the other side, the woman turned to point her weapon at Mai, then quickly disappeared into the darkness with her father’s body. All Mai could hear was the woman’s evil laughter and her voice uttering something about feeding upon him. Mai’s tears flowed as she cried out in agony over her father’s death. She felt helpless as she stared into the darkness. Mai Ling fled to the Isamu palace to tell the old man Istarus, her protector and mentor. _________________ Mai Ling
