The West Yew University is SW of Yew, in Felucca. Coordinates: 35o 51’N 63o 42’W

Once one of the most influential player run organizations on Atlantic, they helped new players learn the game, train and essentially become active members of the virtual community. As such, many UO blessings were bestowed upon WYU.

A ferry boat takes you to the other side of the river, sparing you the long walk from Yew. The campus includes two buildings with classrooms, one of which has a portal that used to take you to the Yew mainland. There is also an outdoor commencement area, an outdoor forge, and a Caretaker's Home. The books in the Caretaker's Home include fascinating historical details about Yew and it's fall.
