Title: Contessa Cadavera

Author:

The rich, glamorous, acid-tongued Contessa Cadavera has been murdered!

The contessa was planning her dream castle. She traveled Trammel, Ilshenar, and Malas to find the best rooms so her architect could copy them. Now the contessa is dead and spirit speak has revealed to a soothsayer that she was murdered in one of the rooms she toured, by someone from a list of eight people, with one of thirteen weapons. Soothsaying is not an exact science.

This book contains lists of suspects and weapons. It also has clues to help you find the eight rooms Countess Cadavera visited. You may keep this book.

When you are ready to make an accusation, visit the provisioner to buy a blank book. Write your own name in the front, then write your accusation. The format is, “[Murderer's Name] with the [Murder Weapon] in the [Murder Site]. Drop off your accusation book in the mailbox at the small house next to the Britain Counselor Hall. Detectives who make an accurate accusation will be listed in a book in the Award Hall. (CAUTION: Only write in or open your accusation book while using the Classic Client.)

One thing the soothsayer is certain of is that the murderer still has the murder weapon. Therefore, if you see a weapon in one of the rooms, you will know that that cannot have been the murder weapon.

Beware! Many of the rooms are in dangerous locations! Look for suspects and weapons in the rooms themselves, not the surrounding area. There will not be a suspect in every room. There will not be a weapon in every room. The contessa had a number of expensive, exclusive Sunwood Interior Decorator Tools. She carelessly left them behind as she traveled. Look for them to confirm that you are in the correct room. It is rumored that there are two secret passages between the rooms.
