The Siege Perilous was the gateway from whence the Stranger was summoned by Lord British. We know little about this world but Lord British did leave behind clues.

We know Lord British came from this same world and summoned the Stranger via the Siege Perilous. We also know its magic is unlike anything we know of moongates.

We know magic of the era of the Stranger needed no reagents. Ancient historical records also show that magic of the time was unruly.

There was a time prior to the Stranger's arrival where magic had fallen out of use. Perhaps this contributed to the volatile nature of magic in that era.

It is perhaps this volatility that can contribute to powers we've yet to imagine in our era. Archaeological evidence suggests Minax had found a means of traversing the gap between our world and the home world of the Stranger and Lord British.

However, there is no evidence of Minax actually succeeding. All that has been found are writings from within Exodus Dungeon which mention what seems to be a word of power, "Earth." Tyball believes one of clear mind and a connection with all around him can utter the words, "Kal Wis Earth" and summon an entity from the other world in to our own.

I; however, am not convinced.
