Elwood’s Quest

Hail and well met fellow adventurers. Thank you for purchasing this guide to doing Elwood's Quest.

All the tools you need are provided for you in this kit.

First, go to the rune marked for Elwood's. Talk to Elwood by placing your right hand over him(right single click over him.)

He tells you he wants you to collect 6 rainbow pearls. Go outside of the tavern, and use your fishing pole in Haven Lake until you produce 6.

Go back in the tavern and talk to Elwood.

Next he would like you to have your portrait painted by an artist named Alberta Giacco.

Find the rune to her, then talk to her. She asks you to sit motionless on the chair for about a minute. Once she tells you you're done, go back and talk to Elwood.

Next Elwood wants a piece of signed sheet music from an impressario named Gabriel Piete. Go to the rune marked for him and talk to him. He says he has no sheet music available.

Go to the theater locations and talk to people there who are able to talk. There are three possible theaters. Once you've found the right one, you will buy the sheet music for 10 gold pieces and return to Gabriel. Have him sign the sheet music, then return to Elwood.

The third thing Elwood needs is some carved figurines for his collection. He will send you to a sculptor named Tomas. Go to the rune for Tomas. Talk to him.

He will ask you to gather 4 pictures of various monsters from the realm.

Once you find the monster he seeks, you will use the paints that Tomas has given you and you will target the monster in question.

The possible monsters and their locations are as follows:

Betrayer, Juggernaut, Juka Mage, Juka Warrior.

All can be found in Lord Blackthorn's Castle.

Go to Ilshenar's Compassion Shrine. Go southwest and go through the mountain pass.

Continue roughly southwest until you see the castle. BE VERY CAREFUL!! Even the stoutest of warriors can die in the castle walls.

There are many high level things inside to kill the unwary traveler. Juka Mages, and Juka Warriors can also be found in Wrong Dungeon.

Bogling, Bog Thing, Mongbat, Plague Beast, Wisp....Go to the swamp rune and look until you find them. Mongbats can be found almost anywhere in Trammel.

Gazer....Can be found right near the Honesty Shrine in Ilshenar.

Giant Beetle.....go to Britain or Haven Banks and you may find one for sale or someone may get off theirs for a moment so you can take a picture. Otherwise, the wild form is found in the Solen Hives.

Giant Black Widow...Go to Ilshenar's Spirituality Shrine. Follow the mountain to the northeast, then to the northwest for quite some ways. You'll pass the Blood Dungeon, and also the Harpy's Nest. Keep going until you see a cave with spiderwebs. Inside you'll find a giant black widow, ( as well as some terathans.)

Lich...Go to the rune marked " liches to the south". Recall there and go south until you see the liches.

Mummy... Go to the rune marked Mummies. Go inside the dungeon. The third room on the left holds a mummy spawn.

Meer Mage, Meer Warrior...Go to the Spirituality Shrine in Ilshenar.Go north until you see the Meer Village.

There you will find both.

Pixie...check the forests near the Meer Village for these.

Sand Vortex, Scorpion.... Use the rune in the book.

Swamp Dragon... Theses are found in the Ilshenar city of Mistas. Go to the Justice Shrine. Follow the path south, then west. To the north is the city of Mistas. You could also ask someone riding one to let you take a picture.

Stone Gargoyle...go to the Chaos Shrine in Ilshenar. One of two can be found not far from the gates. BE CAREFUL. Balrons occasionally lurk there also.

You will be asked to find four of the listed monsters. When you've found all four and taken their pictures, then go back to Tomas and talk to him again. He will take your magic paints.

Then go back to Elwood.

After you talk to him he will reward you with around 700 gold pieces, a magic weapon or piece of armor and a piece of obsidian. After you've collected 10 pieces of obsidian, you can assemble them into a statue, which will fetch a lot of money when sold on the open market.
