Ce'Nedra Willow: Okay then. We've not had much going on this last week. Mostly because of housing on hold again. I made some updates... minor ones to the website. And I've posted the meetings to the in game message boards. Sunwolf thought that the messages only stay for a length of time. I've not been able to test that yet, but I think the council should divy up boards. And be responsible for making sure the message stays on their board.

Ce'Nedra Willow: So Wren that leaves you.. Did you have an oppinion?

Wren Hapswill: eh? about message boards?

Ce'Nedra Willow: I tend to hope people have an oppinion when I'm creating work for them.

Ce'Nedra Willow: Okay. Well we just voted on it then since the rest aren't here. I'll make the list up and set assignments. We chose events for the Seer Festival on the message board.

Ce'Nedra Willow: I don't think Tass sent them in yet though. I think he's going to offer his archery contest, and Vix or Dove or both agreed to fortunes again, from three to five I think.

Gwendolyn: raises hand

Ce'Nedra Willow: Yes ?

Gwendolyn: I believe KOS has offered to run the archery contest. Though I"m not sure how definite that is.

Ce'Nedra Willow: Well we discussed that last meeting, and decided that the festival is going on most the day. So surely if multiple people have the same item, you can just run them different times.

Gwendolyn: aye, that's true

Servantes: Where will this be held? Sorry if I am not upto date

Ce'Nedra Willow: There's a new fair grounds just outside Britain near the Moongate but in city Limits.

Servantes: Ahh

Wren Hapswill: I hear they will be permenent

Ce'Nedra Willow: That's just their kickoff event. But they are to be there permanently for use of the 'players'

Auren Therion: Are you planning to post Council meetings in Britain only, or in other towns?

Ce'Nedra Willow: Britain's yes. The world is a awkward place. We move around and travel with such ease, that's its hard to set down roots, and claim citizenry of a town.

Auren Therion: aye.. Especially with no homes

Ce'Nedra Willow: At the same time... What's the use in the town councils if we all go to all the towns? While we certainly welcome anyone, I'd like to beef up the Britain Cizizenry involvement.

Auren Therion: nods

Ce'Nedra Willow: While I love seeing all your shining faces.. it's rather sad that most of you are from other towns, and other councils. So yes I planned to put our messages on these boards.

Ce'Nedra Willow: It's the same reason I don't have Kathy announce our events on ever Council's boards.

Wren Hapswill: I think there should be a standard message set for this

Ce'Nedra Willow: They go to our board. the News sites. and combined boards like HoA

Ce'Nedra Willow: What do you mean Wren? Like everyone post the same message when we do it, or all boards are linked?

Wren Hapswill: Well.. if everyone who posts on these boards, post a different message.. It might confuse some.

Ce'Nedra Willow: When I write out the locations and such, I'll write up the message I've been posting.

Gwendolyn: thanks. The other thing I wanted to mention is that Trinsic is hosting a bazaar on the 15th.

Ce'Nedra Willow: That is what day? Two weekends?

Gwendolyn: Saturday

Gwendolyn: It will be held at the Trammel Trinsic Marketplace.

Ce'Nedra Willow: Have you prepared any guides for interested merchants and craftsmen? I was telling someone of it the other day, and they asked how it worked. I told them what I'd do.. but didnt know what is suggested.

Gwendolyn: Guides? what do you mean?

Ce'Nedra Willow: I don't know like. Setting up a booth. Or the advantage of bring raw materials over finished items

Gwendolyn: nods

Ce'Nedra Willow: Should they just bank everything and walk to the bank to sell, etc etc. I'm sure the people that do it regularly have tips you could merge as a guide.

Gwendolyn: In the past, we've left such decisions up to the merchants.

Ce'Nedra Willow: But to a first time market merchant, those things might be helpful to know about.

Wren Hapswill: nods

Ce'Nedra Willow: I was thinking of selling armor, but it's so heavy I can't carry much on me. And then you never know what people want. So for me.. I could stockpile hides in the bank and carry what I could on me and go there when I needed more materials. But a smith could not. As there is no forge there is there?

Gwendolyn: nods

Gwendolyn: true...

Wren Hapswill: sounds like you need an apprentice or two..

Wren Hapswill: smiles

Gwendolyn: The forge is in the blacksmith's, across town.

Ce'Nedra Willow: Is there a smithy building near by? Across town? Hrm.

Auren Therion: not near the market.. hmmm

Ce'Nedra Willow: Perhapsa request could be made for one. a small one..

Gwendolyn: How would we make such a request?

Ce'Nedra Willow: Write to a seer. Explain what you do, how often you do it, links to things about you and your events, and exactly what you would like and where.

Gwendolyn: ok...

Auren Therion: they should gut out the fish warehouse

Auren Therion: chuckles

Ce'Nedra Willow: When asking for things like that in towns, make sure they don't plunk it down in the middle of the market square, as that means it would be in the way for other events people may wish to hold there.

Gwendolyn: true...

Auren Therion: they should gut out the building right next to there and put things in there

Gwendolyn: no more fish, Auren?

Ce'Nedra Willow: Well you probably only need a forge really. And you don't want to make the rest of the town useless.

Auren Therion: shakes head

Ce'Nedra Willow: You want the smithy to get used.. just need convenience for market time.

Auren Therion: a packhorse might work to transport things

Ce'Nedra Willow: That's true too. So in the guide you tell merchants where the banks are, where to buy packhorse, and where utilities like an oven and forge are.

Wren Hapswill: where to buy horse food

Ce'Nedra Willow: That too. It's just an idea for one more resource that could make things easier.

Gwendolyn: thank you, Ce'Nedra. We do need merchants.

Ce'Nedra Willow: getting Citizens to volunteer time wokring in your shops is good too. You can publish a schedule of when they plan to be there.

Gwendolyn: Also, I was thinking the bazaar could be a good place for other small events.

Ce'Nedra Willow: I suggest it to you cause you have more erm citizens then we do.

Gwendolyn: Not solely merchants.

Ce'Nedra Willow: nods

Gwendolyn: Fortune telling, perhaps.

Ce'Nedra Willow: Hiring wandering bards is always nice.

Gwendolyn: hrmm.. true...

Auren Therion: What Bardic guilds are there?

Ce'Nedra Willow: That adds spice too. Well there's the CBA. But bards keep to themselves a lot, rather then join any group. I tend to borrow in friends from other shards that love being a bard. takes no skill to tell a tale sing a song. Any Newbie can do it.

Wren Hapswill: I remember helping to Guard the suplly run from Yew to Trinsic after the retaking
