Why is it that the Armageddon spell is so feared? The reason that anything is feared is because it is not understood. It is true that Armageddon has caused great destruction, but it is also true that it has been beneficial when used in the hands of benevolent mages. Zog once used Armageddon to destroy all life in Britannia. However, the great Avatar himself once invoked Armageddon to save all of Britannia ! Is Armageddon a powerful spell? Indeed, it is powerful.

Is Armageddon a destructive spell? It is destructive only when used by a mage bent on destruction. Take the Summon Daemon spell for example. It is true that this is a powerful spell, but when used in the hands of a benevolent mage the daemon could be used for good rather than evil. Armageddon should not be shunned and left to wither into the mists of time. It should be researched and studied so that it's powers could benefit all of humanity !
