Aulbrey is not your typical person, she was a accomplished mage and scribe. books were her life as she grew up, she kept to herself and most would not even notice her in the room. one day as she was leaving the library she ran into a man that looked the same age as herself they began to talk and over the next few months they began to see each other on a regular basis. months turned to years and eventually led to him proposing to her. on the eve of the wedding aulbrey heard terrible news her soon to be husband was attacked and killed. life for aulbrey was hard from that fateful day and since has began to drown her sorrows in drinking. years of drinking and taking various things to numb her pain as began to eat away at her mind and now she is convinced that the man that died so long ago is still with her even though in reality he is merely a lampost. Was given a magical flask that seems to always be full of liquor and always reappears in her pouch.

== History ==
Grew up south of minoc, born the second of two siblings, her sister was given away at a young age and selena has never seen her since. even as a young girl selena knew she was different often seen near flames it is debateable as to if she was really the one who started them. life for selena was tough she was often getting into trouble with other kids her age eventually by her 15th birthday her parents could no longer handle her so they took her to a monestary to live among the monks.

staying with the monks for nearly two years selena when selena decided she would rather live on her own. setting fire to the stable early in the morning drawing most the monks to it she snuck out through the front gates and disappeared into the forest.

traveling alone made her a stronger person she learned to fend for herself and was often found hanging around taverns. a year later selena met Christina Roch, a young woman about the same age as selena. She later offered selena a place to stay. times for her were good she had forgotten about her past and she was happy again. the following year a big storm hit and the house collapsed killing Christina.

Furious,sad and filled with a empty heart selena became obsessed with recreating a potion that would bring back the love that she had lost. now she secretly experiments in her lab in order to find that one feeling of love that she lost not that long ago.
