I was pleased with the ones that came to my call. Lynne Darkthorne, Erland Silverose, Crystal Ice, Durial Lycan, and Saul the Prophet. They had all come to discuss the future of the Society and our place within Skara Brae Trammel...
We all took our seats and within moments our discussion was at hand. The first thing was for them to make any and all reports to both myself and the Lady. Crystal Ice raised her hand high and was then acknowledged to speak.
It seems that through her and whatever spies she employs that we were able to learn the name of the man that the Regent had given the task of stealing my dear Skara Brae. I laughed when I learned his name.
He would be easy enough to eliminate, and his death would serve further proof to the Regent to not meddle in my affairs.
Crystal Ice finished with her report on this and then was silent. I called upon any others to speak whatever they might learn or know. The Lady then looked at me and asked to what precautions I had made towards my pet, Vailanna...
I assured Lady Lynne Darkthorne that Vailanna was something that should never worry us again. It had been sometime since I had taken her back from the hands of the rats, and since then I had made certain that this one would never again be put in such a dreadful position. For not only had my original spells held her, but those of the Lich Lord had as well. And to further ensure that they would, I had brought Vailanna back into the Darkness....
Back into a region that she had never been placed in.... So far that it was taxing on myself... But this would make certain that Vailanna would remain mine forever...
With the additions of new spells that bounded her to my will further, I had also placed an interesting curse upon her... Any exposure to the Light would be painful and lethal to her very existence...
My Vailanna would never be taken from me again...
After I had informed the Society on the status of Vailanna, it was time that I shared a great discovery with them... I told them that the capturing of Skara Brae Trammel was a great victory for us and the Shadow Conclave... But then I asked them why should we stop with Skara Brae? There was so much more for the Trammel Facet to be put under the veil of Darkness... And we must enlighten the fools of that facet before it is brought to its ultimate end...
I told them that within the next few days that we would be gathering many rare and wonderful reagents for a powerful and deadly spell that would gain us even more control over Trammel... I would not tell them what for or for why... For I felt that the eyes of the Regent had somehow managed to follow us here...
They all understood... Our true purpose and goals would soon be at hand...
And then all that remains will be mine...
