Title: On Cranus

First allow me to state that while I have been given wide latitude in my experimentations on the Scale of Cranus by the Mages Guild here in Moonglow, politics and so called Morality have caused the King to limit my scope of experimentations to "respectful, reasonable and unintrusive means". I wholly disavow the King's 'request'. This scale is older than the world we live in, older than even the bones of Zog! So much could be learned, it could be a weapon or a new source of magic!
Next time the King needs a weapon for a war and he comes to the Mages guild with nothing and demands a miracle, maybe we will have something to offer him. The ends justify the means. I intend to exact every method and mode of possible way to release this power...
