Filberto, a tinker from Britain, came by today. It's not often we get visitors from mainland, moreso ones from Britain. He told me about a tuning fork that was created by the inventor Gregory Ironhand. Now, I never heard of one being created, but I have read about them. Seems not only can someone use one to tune an instrument or their voice, but the right type of vibrations from one can shatter glass.
I was most interested in helping create one of these, and have informed him that maybe the gargoyles in Ilshenar know something. I tried to put down a 500 gold deposit for the diagrams of the device, once he crafts one. He assured me he will have no part in a deposit. If he creates it he'll then have enough gold to keep himself living well. I don't know how that is possible, but I did save myself 500 gold.
