Title: The Truth

I write this and leave this here hoping someone will find it and learn the truth.
I foolishly accepted a bribe to poison the water supply. I did not know what I was doing, but after people started dying, I should have come forward and confessed, but I did not. Thus any punishment I may receive, I deserve.
But I do know that there are others in on this plot, and they hired another person to aid them, a drow.
Do not believe all that these newcomers to Papua tell you; they are evil and seek to rule the town by force and bribes.
I will one day pay for my crime, but I pray they will not get away with theirs, for it was they who persuaded me to do evil, and they should be punished also.
I am fleeing far away in hopes of starting life anew.
May the gods of light forgive me for what I did.
