Title: Song of Sacrifice
Author: by Canto Canzione
Thou givest what thou need'st no more: I say thou givest not! For the measure of true Sacrifice Is giv'n from one's own lot. Who giveth but one piece of gold Who hath but just the one Doth give more of a treasure-hoard Then all the gold beneath the sun. For whoso giveth one who needs And thinks not of the price Indeed has given greatly: And such is Sacrifice. So keep thy worthless pity! We've had our share of such, But give what thou will from thy heart, And thou'll have given much.
