The Ritual of Kabar
by a copy of the original
Kabar was a Ghoul Warlord who for long conducted the Army of Death Knights in the expansion of the undead Empire. Kabar was banished from this place of existance in a battle in the borders of Britain. A cerimony ran by Nystul, the court mage with the blessings of Lord British and an organization entitled "The Apostles of the Avatar" enprisioned the ghoul in a crystal shard, which was burrowed deep in the darkest rooms of Deceit. The Ritual of Kabar brings forth the presence of his being, who incarnates in the target of this cerimony. As Kabar was a great warlord, the ritual is advised to be ran prior to a great battle, and the Commander of the Army shall be granted the strenght and leadership of this great tactical mind and supreme power.
Ritual Components: The crystal of Kabar A blood vial A wraith of Oblivion Fertile Dirt A sacred dagger
Procedures:
It's important that the
Crystal of Kabar is not
removed from its
resting place in Deceit,
so the cerimony
should be conducted
there by a Priest.
The army must be
present, as must be
the Commander who
will receive Kabar's
essence. The Priest
will chant the words
that will awaken the
crystal. The wraith
will then touch the
Crystal and the
Dagger, creating a
spiritual bridge
beetween them. The
priest will then insert
the dagger in the
target's heart. To seal
the spirit of the
target, and to avoid the
soul of Kabar to
dissipate, a pentagram
shall be drawn with
blood on the target's
forehead. The Crystal
should then be
burried under Fertile
Dirt until the return
of the spirit.
Kabar can only remain
in the prime material
plane for a few
hours, so this must be
done shortly before
the beginning of the
battle.
After Kabar leaves
the body, the soul will
return immediately to
the crystal.
As a sign of
gratitude towards the
great General,
pilgrimages and trips
to his resting site
shall be made in order
for him to keep
attending the calls.
Compiled by Morthond, the bard.
