Fourth Yew Town Council Meeting Town Council Hall, Yew, Atlantic, 18-Sep-98 Yew citizens marching to the new Council HallPreceding the Council meeting, participants gathered at the entrance hall in Empath Abbey, Yew and walked to the new Council Hall. The Yew Town Council Hall is located between the Court of Truth and the Miller on the northern rim of Yew.

Gargish Dragon: This is a historic event in the history of the Yew council

Gargish Dragon: For the first time we are meeting in our own Council Hall

Gargish Dragon: And I would like to use the opportunity

Gargish Dragon: to thank the Royal carpenter for furnishing

Gargish Dragon: Iron Will did a great job

Gargish Dragon: So what is this meeting about?

Gargish Dragon: I wanted to have you all here

Gargish Dragon: to discuss about the Militia

Gargish Dragon: As you may now Britannia is under a severe threat

Gargish Dragon: by an organization known as the Followers of Armageddon

Syrel Grenhame: More severe than many know...

Gargish Dragon: And we, the Yew Council must do everything

Gargish Dragon: to stop them from their evildoings

Grimlur: SO, how do we capture them?

Wired: we have to find them first

Caramon: Beat them into submission.

Santiago: But don't kill 'em!

Gargish Dragon: As you may now members of the FoA have been found already

Gargish Dragon: but at least one of them is still on the loose

Gargish Dragon: and their task is to collect blackrock from chests

Gargish Dragon: all over Britannia

Gargish Dragon: One of these chests is right inside the Abbey

Sky: Which one?

Wired: don't they have allies?

Syrel Grenhame: Junin.

Greywolf: what do they need blackrock for?

Warlin: Where is these chests?

AndDroid: The dreaded blackrock.

Sky: evil substance it is

Gildar: Are they trying to create a black gate?

Santiago: A spell to end the world.

Gargish Dragon: and we must prevent them at all costs to open it

Greywolf: aye I remember now.

Gargish Dragon: We only have 3 Sergeants right now

Sky: I would volunteer

Sky: for night shift

Vargen: he asked for a non-guilded volunteer

Vargen: I sent him word that I would do it

Vargen: if he wanted me

Vargen: I do not know of his decision though

Sky: I just wish peace for all

Gargish Dragon: I am not sure if he will make the decision

Warlin: Canst we not carry on with the FOA discussion?

Gargish Dragon: but I suggest volunteers send me and Vraal their application

Thrawn: ah yes, the FOA

Greywolf: I have sent in an application but no answer

Gargish Dragon: For now we should continue discussing the FoA, I think

Syrel Grenhame: There is much I still must learn, but i'll tell thee what I know.

Thrawn: surely you have heard only Junin remains at learge...

Gargish Dragon: Yesterday I was helping to guard several chests

Syrel Grenhame: The FoA are not in charge.

Thrawn: how many of the chests do we know of?

Falkayn: Who is in charge then Syrel?

Gargish Dragon: It seems there were 9 or 10 chests

Thrawn: there are 12

Perianwyr: I suspect another force as well

Santiago: I heard thar were a dozen.

Warlin: NAy, that is wrong there are 12

Thrawn: Junin told me

Syrel Grenhame: I know not, yet. It could be Minax, it could be Winslow, it could be

Gargish Dragon: Actually?

Syrel Grenhame: Blackthorn even...

Gargish Dragon: Well there are two type of locations

Thrawn: I believe Winslow is innocent

Gargish Dragon: and this requires different strategy

Thrawn: they simply wanted his staff...

Gildar: What about the talk of Mundains ressurection

Gargish Dragon: The ones in towns

Gargish Dragon: and the ones in the wilderness

Syrel Grenhame: Aye, Sky. He has had some... suspicious circumstances.

Sky: Surely even he doesnt tire of this world?

Gargish Dragon: The ones in towns are difficult to guard

Greywolf: how many people guard the one in our town at one time?

Sky: If we surrounded it?

Syrel Grenhame: Perhaps it wasn't his choice.

Thrawn: was anybody at the capture last night?

acb ii: can we open them remove contents

Dorillion: we need a good thief to be in town

Sky: What mean you Syrel?

acb ii: put it somewhere else

Caramon: you have a thief

Thrawn: they are locked well...

Khellendros: False alarm.

Khellendros: I'm sorry.

Perianwyr: Got to check those necklaces

Syrel Grenhame: Perhaps an evil sought him out, Sky, and corrupted him.

Gargish Dragon: so currently the outpost near the desert and the library in the hedge maze are

Perianwyr: For those of you who might not already know

Syrel Grenhame: He was present at Humbolt's demise.

Sky: I have heard of things like this

Gargish Dragon: locations where there are locked chests

Perianwyr: the FoA are easily distinguished by their necklaces

Wired: in the desert, then

Sky: They were in a book i read, called Shadowlords

Thrawn: Junin likes to cast incognito

Gargish Dragon: they are wearing a necklace with an orb in the form of a black wisp

Perianwyr: Damn addicted he is

Perianwyr: The wisp is small

Perianwyr: you have to look closely

Gargish Dragon: I havent seen one yet

Perianwyr: can't just tell at a glance.

Gargish Dragon: Does it look like the necklace I am wearing?

Thrawn: I have a feeling Junin will be lying low for a few days

Sky: Has anyone spoken with the Seekers?

Warlin: So is there guards at all the known chests locations?

Perianwyr: as we seem to be onto his game.

Vargen: the Seekers are friends but

Wired: I hear they have lots of blackrock already

Vargen: if the wisps are behind this I'm not sure we can trust them

Gargish Dragon: What chests are left?

Gargish Dragon: There is one in the Abbey, one in Jhelom

Vargen: many of them departed this world at their command

Thrawn: I believe the one in Trinsic is unclaimed

AndDroid: Fare thee well.

AndDroid: And good hunting.

Dalyn Orcsbane: same to yourself

Gargish Dragon: one in the guard outpost and one in the hedge maze

Gargish Dragon: I dont have information about the one in Trinsic

Warlin: What dost the chests in the wilderness look like?

Santiago: I've heard it's to the right of the river in Trinsic.

Thrawn: Azreal fouund it

Thrawn: it is along the southern wall

Vargen: where did these chests come from, anyway?

Thrawn: good quiestion...

Perianwyr: Hadies, hmm... perhaps a contraction for Hell Women?

Sky: Shal we split into fire teams?

Sky: to guard the chests?

Warlin: so.... What aer the plans now?

Gargish Dragon: so does anyone have information on other chests?

Thrawn: I believe I know the location of 8 of the 12

Khellendros: I know the location of 10

Khellendros: and there aren't 12

Khellendros: the number is unknown

Thrawn: yes there are

Thrawn: Junin told me

Dalyn Orcsbane: could he not of lied to ye?

Gargish Dragon: I mean the ones which are not yet empty

Sky: Are you in cahoots with Junin?

Vargen: and you believe him?

Khellendros: Zendella told me she didn't know

Thrawn: but 2 are not readily available

Khellendros: Junin must have known more than him

Thrawn: from what the news says..

Thrawn: 2 must be reached through some strange ritual

Santiago: If ye know where ten are...

Warlin: Are there any chests in Hytloth island?

Santiago: Could ye list 'em?

HallGreywolf: should we be setting up some kind of watch schedule?

Sky: not readily available?

Khellendros: I will name the 10 locations now.

MasterNewt: I believe a chest is in the N part of Hythloth Isle as well

Khellendros: Trinsic.

Khellendros: Valor

Thrawn: how is the one in Nujelm inaccessible?

Khellendros: they prolly won't need them all

Thrawn: the more they hav, the better their chance of casting the spelll...

Grimlur: How about the one at the Island of fire?

Vargen: well then, how many DO they need?

Khellendros: the Nujelm one should be in a dungeon that is entered through a trapdoor in the

Warlin: Grimlur found a strange place at Fire island, with a locked chests.....

Warlin: Maybe thats the last chest (number 12) ?

Syrel Grenhame: But no-one really knows what the blackrock is used for. We just assume it's You can not pick that up.

Thrawn: blackrock is neeeded for the spell

Syrel Grenhame: So we know that for certain?

Gargish Dragon: If someone wants to draw the locations on this map...

Vargen: has anyone actually seen this blackrock substance?

Gargish Dragon: Legends say blackrock is a substance

Gildar: What do these chest look like?

Wired: normal locked chests

Thrawn: they are quite plain Gildar

Gargish Dragon: which can create a large explosion

Santiago: Black as midnight,

Santiago: Black as pitch.

Gildar: I found one a while back on Valor Island

Syrel Grenhame: There appears to be some disorder in the ranks of the "dark forces".

Greywolf: tis would be a good time to make good order or our milita

Wired: well, what can we do about it all?

Syrel Grenhame: From the diary of CrawWorth, who heard it straight from the FoA's mouths.

Gargish Dragon: So this is the time to discuss how we act

Perianwyr: Of course, Evil seems to have its act together more than it ever has before

Gargish Dragon: Of course the wilderness chests must be guarded

Sky: And we without our two leaders

Sky: No offense Mayor

Vargen: so do the forces of good; we ARE the forces of good, right?

Syrel Grenhame: The FoA show contempt for the "fool" who commands the spell.

Syrel Grenhame: So I believe that is why they tried it themslves.

Sky: Zog!

Sky: hehe

Sky: Had to say it

Syrel Grenhame: This means the enemy is working less eficiantely.

Thrawn: well, with two being done in in one night..

Thrawn: I'd say we have the upper hand

Thrawn: did the FoA have any guild allies with them?

Syrel Grenhame: I don't believe so.

Gargish Dragon: I think there are no allies right now

Lori: who are the allies of FOA?

Thrawn: then they are in trouble

Sky: Their allies disperse

Perianwyr: I think they could not find sympathy

Sky: like all evil before good

Santiago: The Order of the Ebon Skull, perhaps.

Perianwyr: Although I believe the Mercs

Perianwyr: are just waiting and seeing

Sky: What of EiG?

Thrawn: I believe Fae was working alone dealing with Junin

Syrel Grenhame: That is the problem of using a cell system to organize your forces.

Thrawn: not the whole guild

Caramon: I haven't heard anything from EiG about allying with them.

Gildar: Even they wouldn't want the destruction of our world

Thrawn: I don't think this is the style for RiG

Thrawn: err EiG

Perianwyr: EiG would rather just curse at you

Sky: and well, i might say

Caramon: And besides, EiG has been in a downward spiral since Greybeard resigned.

Perianwyr: and nothing that would endanger their towers full of orc helms, no, no

Gargish Dragon: Alright.. now what about our plans

Perianwyr: Definitely not their style

Gargish Dragon: There are people on the wilderness locations already

Thrawn: one person trying to get to 10 chests..

Thrawn: better bring some playing cards to guard the chests

Warlin: OK we located the last chest

Thrawn: could get a bit dull

Warlin: the 12th chest is at Fire Island

Greywolf: I'd think we need to make a list of all Yew Militia members.

Perianwyr: Excellent

Warlin: as i just showed Khellendros

Sky: Is it guarded?

Gargish Dragon: where on Fire Island?

Warlin: NAy, ungaurded

Perianwyr: Guards must be sent then

Warlin: im not familiar with that island

Syrel Grenhame: Where is Fire Island, exactly?

Warlin: But i have a rune

Falkayn: I'm afraid I must a leave. A critical prior appointment. I will be back soon

Caramon: and it has been there quite some time

Gargish Dragon: It was Telwyns house

Warlin: Nay i did not try to scribe them

Gargish Dragon: and it has been there for ages now

Gargish Dragon: including the chest

Syrel Grenhame: Wait, I missed something... what bookcase is this?

Warlin: So it is not one of the places the FOA are after?

Gargish Dragon: I dont think so

Warlin: There *is* a locked chest there

Perianwyr: (does the lock message show up over your head when you try it?)

Perianwyr: (or over the chest?)

Sky: very astute peri

Warlin: So ye are saying it is a leftover from some old quest?

Gargish Dragon: It is a leftover from a seer house it seems

Perianwyr: Telwyn was a demonslayer

Perianwyr: who often went to Hythloth with his magic staff

Santiago: There is also a chest on Valor Isle...

Perianwyr: and hasn't been seen in a while

Santiago: But I've been told it's a leftover.

Santiago: from some grand quest.

Thrawn: of the chests that have been looted, can you tell they have been looted?

Thrawn: do they appear unlocked now?

Warlin: Ok forget that chest then

Gargish Dragon: the one in Skara Brae is unlocked now

Warlin: Khellendros, that chest i showed you is apperantly an old one

Warlin: Seers house they say

Perianwyr: though my personal suspicion

Khellendros: I just found out

Perianwyr: is that they're locking them after they're done with them

Perianwyr: The Skara Brae chest was left unlocked because of the message within

Perianwyr: REmember, the "Ye are too late"

Warlin: Which was?

Wired: can no one unlock them?

Caramon: Has anyone attempted to pick the locks? To move the rock elsewhere?

Santiago: The forces o' darkness just don't play fair.

Perianwyr: Never said they didn't

Khellendros: even a GM picker can't pick

Grimlur: someone must have some kind of key

Gargish Dragon: As I understand they have keys

Perianwyr: They are as stout as my personal chest

Perianwyr: built as if by royal carpenters

Caramon: If I see Junin. His keys will be in my hands.

Gargish Dragon: At least tats what the not in the Trinsic hideout said

Khellendros: I'll be back soon.

Sky: Well, we can assume Junin will strike this evening

MasterNewt: Why tonight?

Warlin: How come?

acb ii: can we kill him?

Sky: To make it interesting

Santiago: No, acb.

Syrel Grenhame: Newt, I just know...

Vargen: (besides it being friday?)

Greywolf: How do we go about capturing him?

Santiago: It is possible to kill these blokes...

Gargish Dragon: well there was one great idea about the town chests

Santiago: But ye lose all the reward.

Gargish Dragon: put pets around the chest

Perianwyr: You beat him up until he begs mercy

Wired: he can fight like 10, though

Warlin: Have anyone hear battled them?

Caramon: I have

Sky: Or possible trapped chests filled with ore!

Perianwyr: Ha ha

Greywolf: lock the door behind him

Warlin: Are they good mages, and can they heal themselves?

Perianwyr: If I could get him into my tavern kitchen

Perianwyr: he wouldn't be getting out- that door double locks

Caramon: They seem to be good at everything.

acb ii: will he go in gate

Gargish Dragon: I think Junin is a good mage

Santiago: Evil mage, rather.

Syrel Grenhame: Restless for action, Newt?

Gargish Dragon: any ideas ?

Gargish Dragon: I think we should also watch the roads

Vargen: several, but I doubt Lord British will lend us his cannons

Sky: This is Yew, do we have trackers?

Perianwyr: Indeed

Santiago: Aye!

MasterNewt: Ah trackers. Very good.

Warlin: So which chest should we look after?

Sky: You must scout around the chest spots i think

Perianwyr: I do

Caramon: perhaps we should split into teams

Sky: That is the point, Warlin

Santiago: Perhaps we ought to split up...

Vargen: ok, trackers are covered; is anyone good at detecting hidden things?

Santiago: cover all bases, if'n ye know what I mean?

Perianwyr: Already being done

Gargish Dragon: Sergeants, please stand up

Sky: at least one mage and one archer

Caramon: Aye, Santiago

Dorillion: I am the nly one here

Vargen: who's your second then?

Dorillion: have noone

Sky: Do you speak in telepathy?

Warlin: (someone posted just now important FOA info on COB -discussion board)

Gargish Dragon: what did he post?

Vargen: Mayor Gargish, given that this is a crisis situation...

Gargish Dragon: Vargen?

Warlin: (a lot, im reading it now)

Vargen: I say you should call the shots

Gargish Dragon: will you lead another team?

Vargen: we don't have time for a democracy

Sky: I second

Sky: that makes it democratic

Syrel Grenhame: I second Vargen's motion.

Syrel Grenhame: Well, third, then.

Perianwyr: Don't see why not

Sky: Has anyone marked the map?

Santiago: If we need assistance...

Santiago: (an' we surely will...)

Gargish Dragon: As we know there are only two roads in to Yew

Santiago: Ye mought contact the Lost Order of Akalabeth.

Gargish Dragon: I would think if they wanted to get the Abbey chest

Gargish Dragon: they would have to travel on one of the roads

Warlin: (posts was about chests status on all shards. detailed information)

Wired: what about this shard?

Gargish Dragon: (or recall but that wouldnt be fair)

Vargen: (atlantic?)

Grimlur: I thank thee

Perianwyr: (Junin recalls, all over the place)

Warlin: (this shard: less information than we know!)

Syrel Grenhame: So do we, Perin.

Vargen: (YES!)

Santiago: I've heard Junin was seen last night...

Warlin: (they listed only8 chests)

Santiago: walkin' through the woods in Britain.

Santiago: So he don't always use spells . Warlin: Britain?

Syrel Grenhame: He won't strike there.

Santiago: Aye.

Perianwyr: I am receiving news from the Hedge Maze

Greywolf: that's good

Vargen: not only is he evil, he has poor taste in towns.:)

Warlin: spill it!

Perianwyr: JUNIN ATTACKED TE HEDGE MAZE

Perianwyr: GOT THE CHEST CONTENTS

Lori: let'sgo!

Wired: damn!

Perianwyr: 5 MINUTES AGO

Sky: Whos watching the Abbey?

Caramon: we cannot sit here idle as they steal the chests

Syrel Grenhame: I knew he would strike this eve...

Gargish Dragon: all right..

Sky: I too

Wired: let's at least guard the Abbey!

Gargish Dragon: yes

Perianwyr: I tell you the Abbey is done for

MasterNewt: I believe Yew is next.

Perianwyr: DAyel Stormcrow surprised Martoo as he was in the room

Vargen: then why are we waiting here?

Perianwyr: I have NO IDEA

Warlin: move to Abbey!

Sky: To Arms!

Perianwyr: All right

Vargen: I move we continue this discussion in the abbey

(This was a quite forced ending of the meeting as forces hurried through the gates opened to the Abbey.)

And thus began the long watch guarding the chests of the FoA. Many brave citizens of Yew contributed to trying to catch the last leader of the FoA, Junin. The chest at Empath Abbey was surrounded by beasts and brave men guarding it with their body. Then even Dragons were brought into the room and made covering the chest.
