Compendium and Archive of Necromantic Rituals
(A note to the aspiring Necromancer on rituals)
Greetings Aspirant,
In the times of ancient Stygia, Ezerak the High Necromancer led the flock of Lord Nizar in arcane and macabre rituals, which brought about the era known as the Golden Age of Stygia. This enlightenment and openness of the Dark Arts confused and bred hatred with those who inhabited the mainland. There are those weak willed humans who are frightened of each of Oblivion's enigmas and it is to this purpose that the hallowed halls of Morn Cirith shall now be open and indexed with the Kabala Arcana Necronus. The rituals and devices listed within are now open for your perusal to be used by ye at the request of thine master for research.

[edit] Rituals of the First Circle
These are the standard rituals taught to initiates and those of middling rank and are performed to show their expertise in necromancy. All these rituals are found in the halls of Morn Cirith and the Scholomance and are open for all to view and practice.
Blessing of War: This ritual will bless up to five members for any incoming Battle. Can be performed in any Pentagram
Sacrifice to Oblivion: This ritual consists of offering the Heart of a defeated opponent to Oblivion. Can be performed in any Pentagram
Entropy Curse: This ritual can be performed anywhere. It consists of cursing the opponents by speaking sacred words to prevent them from winning a Battle.
Ritual of Corruption: This ritual can be performed in Sacred Places to corrupt them.
Symbol of Demise: This ritual is to be performed in enemy structures, leaving the mark of Oblivion as a symbol of their upcoming demise.
Feast of Blood: This ritual consists of killing innocent townsfolk to please Oblivion. It can be performed in the Wild.
[edit] Rituals of the Second Circle
The Dark Triad can only performs these rituals; as such these rituals are not open to the public to view because of their powerful nature. Thine master or one from the ranks of the Dark Magi will make these rituals available to ye if it is necessary.
The Opening of the Vortex: This ritual is to be celebrated whenever an important member of the guild is promoted to the leadership of a Sect, or an Avatar of Oblivion spawns in Britannia. It is ran in the Avatar Isle, in the Temple of Daemons
The Final Descent: This ritual is to be celebrated whenever an important member of the guild is dismissed of his duty, quits the Order,, or an Avatar leaves Britannia. It is performed within the hallowed halls of Golgotha.
The Rite of Lichdom: This ritual is performed by those of the magus or high rank to throw off their mortal coil and accept the state of being that was awarded by the Ebon Skull to Lord Nizar in ancient times.
Anthem of Arms: This ritual is to be celebrated whenever a Great War has started or ended. It is performed within Morn Cirith.
Call of Deities: This ritual calls upon the Deities of Oblivion and beseeches them for their advice. This ritual can only be performed with the presence of the Lich Lord and all Council Members. An Oracle will descend into Britannia to answer the questions of the Guild. This ritual is ran in the Well of Souls.
Pass of the Seasons: Whenever a season changes, all members of the Ebon Skull will offer sacrifices and gifts to the Deity corresponding to that Season. The priest will place the gifts in an Altar in the Shrine of Chaos.
The Three Oaths (Conversion Ritual for SES): Whenever a member is to be added to the ranks of Oblivion, he'll be brought before the ruling Coven in the Morn Cirith and will resign of his previous factions and die, he will then recite the three oaths of the Necromancers and be brought before the Lich Lord and born again as a member of the Ebon Skull.
The Rite of Passage: This ritual is conducted for any Necromancer who has earned the favor of the Dark Triad and is granted a promotion unto the next highest rung within the Necromancer hierarchy.
[edit] Rituals of the Third Circle
These rituals can only be performed with the presence and agreement of the Lich Lord thusly these rituals are the closely guarded secrets of the Ebon Council.
Convergence of Unmaking: This ritual can only be performed in the Dungeon Deceit, with all the Council present. It requires a great amount of Energy, and it unleashes a greater blessing on all guild members, before a Great War.
Armageddon: The secrets of this powerful ritual are within the pages of the Codex of Oblivion.
Summoning of the Avatar of Death: This powerful ritual was used by the Skull during the golden age of Stygia and heralded the end of the first age of the Ebon Skull.

Ritual of Unbirth for the Aspirant Necromancers
Existence is Weakness... We do not merely exist! We have commanded our being. It is time for thee to do the same; to toss the shackles of mortality to the earth, to allow the darkness to consume thy being and hand unto Oblivion thy soul.
Speak now thy Oaths and become one with the Skull!

-The air begins to thicken as the clouds spread across the realm
The Darkness fills your heart and soul
Somewhere you can hear a scream…
Somewhere you can feel the pain…
And you know the will of the black God is foretold
Lightning booms in the distance as the necromancers begin to speak-
Oath of the Skull (Spoken by the Tyrant of Enmity)
Aspirant of the Ebon Skull speak now these words...
The Skull is my Master, the Skull is my Will. I am the black sword of the Order. My power is yours to command. Within me lies the answer, within me lies the key. By the Bone of my Kin I do swear unto thee. By the dark of my soul I do swear unto thee.
Oath of Blood (Spoken by the Archon of Blood)
Aspirant of the Ebon Skull speak now these words...
My Flesh belongs to thee, my blood belongs to thee. Thy Will shall forever enslave my body. I am thy temple. I am thy Fist. I am Death's Scythe. I am Entropy's flames. By my blood I do swear myself unto thee. By the dark of my soul I do swear unto thee.
The Oath of the Oblivion (Spoken by the Herald of Oblivion)
Aspirant of the Ebon Skull speak now these words...
My soul is given unto thee. My existence is the gift of thy blessing. The Darkness shall be my life. Oblivion shall command me. Oblivion shall set me free. The Void shall embrace me. Give unto me thy blessing, oh great God and I shall reap the souls of the innocent for thee. By the dark in my soul I swear unto thee. My mortality I give to thee.
-The Magus continues to speak as the tower seems to shake in its icy prison
The tension surrounds you, choking you
The Magus speaks yet his words are not his own-
Child of Darkness you are ours to command. Your bond is eternal and shall never be broken. The time to seal thy fate is nigh. When you are stripped of your flesh a choice you shall be given. If fear is within you then step unto the light and be not reborn. If Oblivion commands thee then Embrace the Darkness and be born unto the Skull.
(At this point the magi use the ice staves on the Aspirant killing him if he excepts to be resurrected then he shall be made OES if he does not return from death he is a weakling of the light and is scorned)

(Necromancer explains in detail the quest accomplished to earn the promotion)
