Title: The Serpent Codex

The one true axiom the Serpent holds is Balance. The Great Earth Serpent of Balance is in the center of all. Around him twined in caduceus lie the opposites and extremes Order and Chaos. The three principles Chaos, Order and Balance form the basis of belief. Each principle has three forces which govern them.
The Forces of Chaos:
Tolerance.
Tolerance is that which allows the acceptance of all things. In the extreme, untempered by ethical standards it produces Anarchy.
Enthusiasm.
Enthusiasm is the energy that can be used to perform great feats in one life. In the extreme, untempered by Discipline, acts become Wanton without restraint.
Emotion.
Emotion is the ability to perceive that which comes from the heart, rather than from the mind. Without the temperence of Logic it becomes Insanity.
The Forces of Order:
Ethicality.
Ethicality is the belief that there is great value in abiding by a set of rules. Without the balance of Tolerance, the result is Prejudice.
Discipline.
Discipline is the drive that allows one to complete tasks avoiding any distraction. Without being tempered by Enthusiasm, Discipline leads to Apathy.
Logic.
Logic is clear reasoned thought, free of any bias, Logic without Emotion produces Ruthlessness - self advancing actions without considering the needs of others.
The Forces of Balance
are formed in combination
when one of the Forces
from Chaos and one of
the Forces from Order
combine.
Harmony.
When Ethicality and Tolerance combine, Harmony exists. This is the ability to be at leace with the world, within yourself and with others around you.
Dedication.
Dedication is the combination of Enthusiasm and Discipline. It allows one to overcome what seem to be impossible odds and display good leadership skills.
Rationality.
Emotion tempered by logic produces Rational thought. This ability is used to comprehend life and the world around us.
