The Crystall Ball

By Nature I am a ranger... I enjoy the great outdoors.... Communing with nature and all its beauty.
Lately those same woods that I so much love, have been besieged by horrors of monsters. It's not my female repugnation towards these beasts but their hatred toward humanity. They must be destroyed or I fear the outcome of our civilization and life as we know it.
I happened a visit to Minoc just yesterday... An experience I hope not to duplicate. The woods had been overcome by ettins and orcs, so I decided to do a little mining (I know a lady should not pick such strenuous labor, but a living I must make).
As I got into the bit of mining some stranger began attacking my horse. Shocked as I was I managed to defend my stallion barely with its life. Soon after, thieves swarmed the area.... Work had to be stopped for the day. I left for home - Yew.
My welcome was received by an unwarranted attack by an air elemental. Upon which my life ceased to exist.
