Well now.... While 
we're waiting Tell us 
who you are & you 
involvement with this 
quest. 

<Cesspool> I am 
Cesspool  I have 
traveled from Trinsic, 
in Trammel, to where 
I am now In Serpents 
Hold in Felucca. I 
have currently been 
standing guard at the 
post for many days 
now And in the 
process have met the 
evil demon himself 
many times. The first 
time I met him was 
when he Imp Kraltch 
came to scout out the 
area.

<AQN> By "Post" Are 
you referring to The 
Obsidian Post? 
<Cesspool> Aye I'm 
sorry I did not specify 
that 

<AQN> Quite alirght. 
please continue. 

<Cesspool> His Imp 
attacked us and we 
made quick work of 
him. The demon 
Nostur'yl himself 
apeared an warned us 
we would be sorry  
for what we had done 
to his scout. About an 
hour later he came and 
crushed many a 
worrior. We then 
found he had 
somewhat of a 
weakness. There 
were some worriors 
who had used deadly 
poison on him. His 
health was quickly 
droping and he 
retreated Only to come 
back a minute later 
completely healed.

<AQN> -nods-  For 
some of the reader 
who dont know whom 
Nostur'yl is could you 
maybe explain who he 
is, & how he came 
about? 

<Cesspool> Ah yes, 
Nostur'yl is a demon 
who was trapped in 
the Abyss by the 
oracle. He was able to 
walk the lands as a 
shadow, or in the 
guise of a human 
mage. He was 
searching for 8 
jewels which were 
what kept him 
imprissoned in the 
Abyss. He went 
around the world 
forcing the jewels 
holders to one way or 
another give him the 
jewel. But when he 
arrived in Rivendell to 
claim the one there he 
made a deal with the 
mayor that he would 
not bother the town if 
they cleared Merrik, 
A criminal with many 
followers whom had 
commited crimes 
against the town of 
Rivendell of all his 
crimes.

Now when the 
time came for the 
demon to depart, he 
demanded they hand 
over the gem for it 
was part of him.When 
they refused to 
give it to him, he 
kidnapped the mayor, 
Aleph Aries. 
Nostur'yl demanded a 
trial for Aleph. He 
appointed Lady Liane 
as the judge, and 
anchient wyrm. 
Durring the trial the 
Oracle was questioned, 
via a communication 
crystal. The demon 
asked the Oracle if 
there were any other 
way he could be 
released aside from 
collecting all 8 gems. 

The Oracle hesitantly 
replied that if she 
were to die, Nostur'yl 
would be free.Then 
sounds of battle could 
be heard over the 
communication 
crystal, And the 
Oracle was soon found 
dead. Nostur'yl then 
became a solid object, 
and was now in our 
realm. Shortly before 
he was free, Obsidan 
Posts were being 
discovered all over the 
world. Nostur'yl 
cought word of this 
from the leader of 
Ncr Smogg Azailian. 

Nostur'yl then sent 
grey colored Balrons to 
collect the posts. He 
sometimes went 
himself to get the 
posts, but he can only 
move 1 a day for they 
are extreamly heavy. 
The reason he seeks 
these Posts is that 
when used properly 
they can open a gate to 
the Abyss & He will 
use this gate to 
unleash all evil upon 
the world. He has 
collected 6 of them 
thus far & there are 
8 in all. the remaining 
Posts reside in Minoc 
and Serpents Hold. 
Now we have come to 
the present.

<AQN> -nods-

<Cesspool> When he 
came himself he was 
unable to retrieve the 
post after having to 
retreat many times.

<AQN> What is being 
done to stop Nostur'yl 
from taking the 
remaining posts?
 
<Cesspool> We have 
gathered many people 
at the posts to block 
any attempts on it. 
Sometimes there are 
near 100 people 
present, sometimes I 
am alone  

<AQN> -frowns-

<Cesspool> I have 
found I can stand over 
the post and the demon 
cannot reach it.

<AQN> Okay, Akan 
the Hermit now joins

plan on doing in the 
near future to stop 
Nostur'yl? 

<Cesspool> Nostur'yl 
has met with me in 
private twice, and 
given me till next 
wednsday till he 
comes to claim the 
post. I have heard of a 
sword that will kill 
any openent in a single 
attack, but also kills 
the weilder, it is 
called the Sword of 
Sacrafice. I am trying 
to figure a way to get 
Lady Liane, the holder 
of the sword to let me 
have it to disperse 
Nostur'yl. I have yet 
to find an item she 
will trade for it.

<Akan> What about the 
Lantern of Illusions? 
I had heard that she 
was going to trade it 
for that 

<Cesspool> Yes, but I 
know not who 
posesses it 

<Akan> Nor do I 

<AQN> what is the 
Latern of Illusions? 

<Cesspool> I know little 
of the Lantern 

<Akan> If I may 
answer, then? 

<AQN> Go ahead 

<Akan> -smiles 
slightly- 

<Akan> From what I 
have discovered 
through research, it 
is a lantern made of 
normal metal 
enchanted with the 
ability to create not 
just illusions of 
things, but actual 
substantial "shadows" 
of them Which bear 
much more than the 
normal strength 

<AQN> And what use 
does she have with it? 

<Akan> She merely 
wants it destroyed, I 
believe, but she could 
have a hidden agenda 
She is a wyrm, after 
all.

<AQN> -nods- And 
Akan, your plans for 
the future? 

<Akan> My plans 
have not been altered 
much from my past 
ones.I am here to 
record the events for 
posterity. I am a 
historian and a 
journalist.

<AQN>
