Virtuous souls, for fear

mountaintops, as it is in 
secrecy that we live, 
work and survive.

A Spider is firstly a 
creature of Deception. No 
one should know the true 
self except the self. 
Seek to know others and 
use their weaknesses 
against them to advance 
your Path. 
Others should see only 
your strengths and never 
any sign of weakness. 
Seek to expunge them 
from your self so you 
may advance further in 
your life.

A Spider is a creature 
of Vengeance. Others 
have hurt us since time 
began. There have been 
few who welcome us 
gladly into their homes 
and those who do are 
either insane or already a 
Spider themselves. For 
every rolled up parchment, 
broom, or boot shown to 
a Spider, take Vengeance!

An enemy should never be 
left behind, for they may 
stab you in the back. 

Of course their death 
should always be a nice, 
slow torment.

A Spider is a creature 
of Shadows. Hide your 
true self carefully, lest 
others take advantage of 
your nature. Do not 
reveal this book or its 
contents to another, lest 
by it your Nature is 
revealed. Never be 
ashamed to take to the 
shadows in 
self-preservation, for 
above all, you must 
continue to serve.

From combining Deception 
of others and a need for 
Vengeance, comes the 
need to Survive. 

Survival is beyond good 
or evil or any other 
consideration. If you serve 
another, serve faithfully, 
lest they turn on you 
with Vengeance. It serves 
you to serve without 
question and await your 
opportunity to advance. 
Put yourself and your 
allies above all 
From combining a life in 
Shadows with Vengeance 
one shows Ambition. 

Always hold close to you 
those things or people 
who will help you to 
advance. Who cares what 
sacrifice they make on 
your behalf if it brings 
you closer to that which 
you aim to achieve? 

Set goals and lie in wait 
for the time to be right, 
then strike swiftly from 
the Shadows and take 
your rightful place.

From combining a life of 
Deception with the 
Shadows that hide ones 
nature and being from 
harm, comes Detachment. 
Be an ally to those who 
have information, 
possessions, strengths or 
contacts you need only 
for as long as you need 
them. 

Cut them from you 
like webbing from your
spinnerets after you land 
or secure a thread.

When you combine a life 
where the self is 
everything (including 
Deceptive, hidden in 
Shadows and Vengeful 
towards others) you 
become Cynical of 
anything that is 
considered beyond those 
goals. Look after and 
trust only the self. 

Question those who follow 
paths which they claim 
will take them anywhere 
else, as anyone can tell 
you there is little beyond 
the next meal or the 
purpose of ones own life. 

Any path can be reduced 
to these terms if one 
looks hard enough. Be 
mindful not to let others 
see you for what you 
truly are while you 
question what they 
believe. 

In the absence of all of 
these, lives one's Pride. 
Pride of course, makes 
Spiders superior to all 
others (even if they hide 
it from them). It allows 
one to pursue ones 
purpose without worrying 
about crushing smaller 
beings underfoot. Power 
for the Spiders as a 
whole is everything.
