Queen Lilyth of Yew Hosts Jousts
In early July the people of Yew hosted jousts for noble Sosarians. Many from the Regency affiliated guilds as well as neutrals and allies came to participate in this event. With all dressed in plate the jousters had a few moments to interact with each other and from the start to became evident that there were a few who had high hopes on the top prize which aside from what ever lady Lilyth provided was worth more than gold: bragging rights.

Lord Rellik was first to face off against a member of the Runic Knights. Although he won two passes it was decided that a third should be made due to a false start. Regardless of the restart Rellik won the first match. This would be one of the only victories for men in this competition.
Next was Isk who faced Cat Lyxen. The Magnate had won against Cat on the last round of the previous joust held by Lord Sid but this time around Cat got her revenge. Cat was first to fall during the first pass and it took her a few minutes to get back upon her horse. While Isk pranced around on his mount and Nathan, Isk’s herald cheered on his lord the spectators said Cat must have suffered a concussion but those words were quickly cast aside when Cat defeated Isk in the second pass and the third shattering the Magnate’s pride.
A few jousts followed in which Ellesbeth won against Porthos. One of Sid’s soldiers, Lord Devil, won a joust against a Runic Kinght. Isk’s son, Athlon, lost against Dyannae in a controversial third pass though he was knocked down only once.

As the second round of jousts began Lord Devil got to progress freely in light of the uneven number of jousters that qualified. In the second round Rellik was defeated after a total of eight unsuccessful passes and Cat Lyxen was also defeated.
Lord Devil held on strong though he was knocked down in the beginning of the third round. With Ellesbeth and Dyanne left standing the stage was set for the final round.

Ellesbeth and Dyannae took to their circles upon their respected mounts. The crowd was split on who was their favourite so both received their share of good cheer. When the dust was settled Ellesbeth won the day though Dyanne gave a good fight. All participants received a round of applause and the gifts of victory were bestowed upon the first second and third place finishers.
